Since October 2, 2002, Archbishop John of Brest and Kobrin has been the ruling bishop of the diocese.

The governing body of the diocese, according to the Statute of the Russian Orthodox Church, is the diocesan council. The chairman of the Diocesan Council is the ruling bishop - Bishop John of Brest and Kobrin. The secretary of the Diocesan Council is Archpriest Sergiy Petrusevich. The Diocesan Council includes:

The executive and administrative body of the diocese, under the direct supervision of the diocesan bishop, is the diocesan administration, which has its own office, accounting, warehouse, archive and other auxiliary departments that provide various types of diocesan activities.

The diocese is divided into deanery districts, headed by deaneries appointed by the diocesan bishop. Today in the Brest diocese there are 9 deanery districts (1 city and 8 district).

As of December 2017, the Brest diocese has 217 churches, 4 monasteries (two for men and two for women). The total number of parishes is 202. The number of prayer rooms at military units and hospitals is 36, 15 chapels. The number of full-time employees of the clergy is 227 people.

The Brest diocese publishes the following printed publications that have received a publishing license from the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus:

  • the official publication is the Brest Eparchialnye Vedomosti magazine, published quarterly, with a circulation of 300 copies;
  • a spiritual and educational publication ─ the newspaper "Spiritual Herald", monthly - 3,200 copies.

The secular regional, city and district mass media regularly cover the church life of the diocese.

The Sisters of Mercy are working together with the sisterhood in the name of St. Mary Magdalene Equal to the Apostles in the Peter and Pavlovsk Church in Bereza, the youth brotherhood and pupils of the Sunday School at the Berezovskaya Central Regional Hospital named after E.E. - participation in events dedicated to the taking of the oath of allegiance by young soldiers, held in the spiritual-patriotic complex;
- conducting educational conversations with parishioners, pilgrims, students and teachers of cadet classes who visit the military-patriotic complex and who want to get acquainted with the history of the emergence of this historical monument and the life of the holy martyr Sergius of Rakvereisky (Florinsky), whose footsteps this place is consecrated;
- provision of material assistance to large, low-income families and families raising disabled children; - before the start of the school year, an action “Help for school” was held (10 families);
- reading the Psalter over the dead at the request of relatives;
- participation in the fifth regional Easter holiday of culture and spirituality "Light of Orthodoxy";
- participation in the creation of a museum of military glory of the 151st Pyatigorsk regiment and the memory of soldiers who died in Afghanistan;
- participation in prayer services in a military chapel;
- consecration of the prayer room in IUOT No. 3;
- on the day of memory of the faithful princes Peter and Fevronia, participation in the meeting of the youth brotherhoods of the diocese, dedicated to the topic family life, love and fidelity.

- Spiritual support of parishioners who deviated to sects, but then returned to Orthodoxy;

- visiting by sisters of patients undergoing inpatient treatment;
- in the chapel of the hospital, reading the akathists to St. Mary Magdalene Equal to the Apostles, to the Holy Great Martyr Panteleimon and the image of the Queen of Heaven, called the Healer);
- "Everything sweet to children" - congratulations to children in the children's department of the regional hospital on the holiday of Christmas;
- independent study of the necessary manuals, guidelines for teaching the basics of caring for seriously ill people, palliative care and first aid in the framework of self and mutual help;
- familiarization visit of the sick pupils of the Sunday School who want to work together with the sisters;
- within the framework of the program "Prenatal pedagogy" at antenatal clinic of the regional hospital conducting lectures and talks in the School of Future Mothers - holding meetings and talks "In Defense of Life" of the patients of the gynecological department of the regional hospital with the priest Archpriest Georgy Nemshon.
