Another hello to all Muskovites! Today we will have a review of a good and suitable bluetooth (version 4.1) headset from the Remax brand. The main features, how it sits on the "face of the face", an overview of the complete set - everything is under the cut.
As usual backstory
After switching to shovel smartphones (the first of them was the first Xiaomi Redmi Note), after a rather short period of walking, I realized that it would be nice for me to put on a headset. I carry my phone in my bag, for each bunch it was rather annoying to climb there. There was a Bluetooth 3.0 headset Roman S301 (also not bad) in the store, I bought more for listening to music (for two ears), but decided to pick it up - it immediately became noticeably more convenient. The scheme of use was standard - a call comes in, raised his hand - looked at Pebla, who is calling - pressed the button and speak. But the headset had a minus - it was hung on the neck and constantly, when I took off the bag, it was pulled together with it. Plus, her Vidocq (headset) was already pretty shabby and in general - she wanted something new.
After crawling, Ali's eyes were attracted by such a headset in the style of "hearing aid". Another plus was that the headset was not noname, but with some kind of brand. Judging by the information from the Internet, Remax specializes in the production of various mobile accessories (glasses, power banks, headsets, etc.).
In the meantime, the first phone sold out, the second one was bought - Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 at the Ali sale in August. Almost immediately, this headset was ordered for this business along with a coupon. I don’t know why the seller now SO lifted the price tag, but on the day of the sale it tasted better, and after applying the coupon it was even more so: D

As you can see in the top screenshot of the order - I ordered it on August 25th. The delivery turned out to be lightning fast - already on the 5th I picked it up at the post office. 
It was packed in an ordinary gray bag (unfortunately I couldn't find a photo of it), inside the bag there was a box wrapped in tape. In general - normally packed:

I checked through my Redmi Note 2, using the barcode, the browser went to the site, where I immediately entered the number under the barcode. As a result - a green check mark, i.e. the product is kind of true, the original.

The case, which contained the cable, with a logo. Honestly - the quality is like. Eh ... I don't even know what: D At the autopsy, I smelled a little, now I smelled it - there is no smell anymore. In short, the quality is average, and I don't see any reason to pull the cable in it - I immediately threw it back into the box. 
Instruction. Two languages - English and Chinese. It is written normally, it is quite simple to understand how to work with a headset, as well as how to connect to a device / devices. I took a few pictures with info, maybe someone will suddenly come in handy (under the spoiler).

Here is a small digression at once. As you can see above, there are NO spare ear pads in the kit, so I recommend not to lose it. However, I didn’t manage to pull it off by accident, it is holding on quite tightly (in the old Roman S301 I had already lost two pieces, they held on rather weakly).

The main functions of the volume buttons are actually volume control, as well as (with a long press) - scrolling through the tracks on the phone back and forth through the list.
The main functions of the multifunction button:
1) accept / pick up a call
2) play / pause music track
3) long press (while connected to the phone) - dial the last dialed number
4) quick double click - change the language of notifications (two languages are available - English / Chinese)

Let's look at the back. There is a headset on / off lever, a microUSB connector and an LED. Lights up in two colors - red (when charging or when we turn off / turn on the headset) and blue (when the search for devices is in progress, it periodically blinks during connection, also lights up constantly in blue when the device is fully charged).
Now let's get connected. As a test subject - the same Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. The connection process is standard:
1) pull the lever to the "On" position on the headset
2) turn on bluetooth on our device and look for a headset, it is called like this: 
3) we press the connection, the headset will ask for the PIN code - enter 0000 on the phone.
4) the headset will announce "Successful pairing" in a pleasant female voice - that's it, the headset is ready to work
I also draw attention to the status bar in the phone (I remind you - this is MIUI V7) - such an oval appeared in the center, it shows the current charge of the headset, while I did not install anything additionally. VERY handy thing. Why? This will be a little lower (about low charge)
Operating experience:
1) range of work
It is written about 10 meters. In reality, even a little more. At the same time, the sound is not interrupted / distorted due to the increase in the distance from the headset - the same clear.
2) "energy save" mode
The headset has a power saving mode. Those. if within 10 minutes it cannot find a device to connect (it only searches for devices to which it has already been connected), then Power off occurs. In this case, the lever, of course, remains in the "On" position.
3) notifications
There are pluses and minuses here.
pros- the notifications are really good, pronounced in a pleasant female voice, every word is clearly audible. They are simple in meaning ("Power on", "Pairing ...", "Successful", "Incoming call", etc.), I think even those who are not particularly versed in English will understand everything perfectly.
Minuses:
- when the charge is low, it starts repeating every 15 seconds so that it's time to put the headset on charge. It is useful, yes, but in reality you can still make about 3-4 calls (in total - up to 20+ minutes so exactly), and in stand-by mode it can take an hour or two. Moreover, if someone picks you up and the charge crosses the critical mark during a conversation, the headset will jam your interlocutor, pronouncing your phrase, while you will not hear what the interlocutor is saying. Therefore, it is better not to bring it to a low charge. Fortunately, as I wrote above - on Android smartphones(at least - MIUI V7) shows the current charge of the headset.
- since I use this headset in conjunction with Pebble Steel - sometimes the following opportunity happens: there is an incoming call, the headset happily starts to say "Incoming call number" blabla "(speaks in numbers in English)), raised his hand to see who is calling, press the button on the watch to accept the call - The call is accepted, but the headset does not understand this and continues to dictate the number. At the same time, the interlocutor on the other end starts yelling "ale, ale", but you will not hear this - because the headset is not aware that the call has been received. Perhaps somewhere there is a conflict between the two devices, perhaps MIUI V7 is somehow involved in this (it is now in beta version) - but in this case it is better to receive a call by pressing the headset button.
4) working time
Good. I will not say that it holds for a very long time, but it is acceptable. It is enough for about a week in an "above average" load mode, while I often turn on the radio / music while walking + talking for about ~ 3 hours. Charges for about 1 hour with a penny.
5) sound quality
Pleased, seriously. The sound is clear, the presence of the apt-X codec is indicated.
Small footnote on apt-X
The Apt-X codec uses ADPCM audio processing technology, which is a lossless data compression with support for 16 and 24-bit processing and a dynamic range of up to 120 dB. In fact, the differences between it and the MP3 / AAC codecs are the same as between MP3 / WMA and FLAC / WAV compressed audio files. At the same time, the Apt-X codec can transmit audio encoded in MP3 and AAC without additional processing, without degrading its quality.
On the other side, they also hear me clearly, no gurgling, "voices from the bucket", etc. I remember when I was talking on the old Roman S301 - they often said that the sound gurgles and asked to say it again. This has never happened here.
The only thing is - the sound is quiet. Perhaps the matter is again in MIUI V7 and this problem can be solved by installing some kind of "booster" of sound ala ViPER4Android, but this does not bother (actually, I think, if you listen to music often, but for this I would take full-fledged headphones).
The verdict is a good, usable headset. Excellent audibility, no problems with the main function (conversational), good autonomy (a full week in the "above average" mode of use). Of the nuances - a quiet sound (more precisely, average in volume), sometimes annoying built-in notification (muffles conversation / music to zero).
Well, in conclusion - how it looks on the face of the face. Litter for unshaven - this week turned out to be difficult: D
