Device and principle of operation

The inlet pipe of the valve (see Figure) is connected to the controlled area of \u200b\u200bthe gas pipeline after the pressure regulator. In the valve body, a spool is set to the spring 2 saddle, the force of which is controlled by the movement of the support washer 3 by rotating in the screw thread 4. With an increase in pressure in the inlet nozzle, the specified spool is slightly lifted, the gas pressure begins to operate on the entire surface of the spool, which is much larger than the central part, resulting in increasing static pressure, pressing the spool up. In addition, bevelled inside the surface of the edge of the spool deflects the flow of gas flowing from the saddle. With such a deflection of the flow, a reactive force is created, which is summarized with an already increased static pressure on the spool. The equilibrium between the spring force and the gas pressure on the spool is broken, and the spool is riveted to the extreme top position. When the pressure decreases in the gas pipeline, the gas pressure on the gaza cannot overcome the force of a compressed spring and the spool falls on the saddle, hermetically overlapping the gas flow. The valve is equipped with a lever 5 for forced opening.
