How to make popsicles

Ingredients:

  • Fresh pineapple (canned) - 500 g,
  • Water - 500-600 ml,
  • Lemon juice - 100 ml,
  • Sugar - 300-400 g,
  • Ice cream molds,
  • Ice cream sticks (if needed).

Preparation:

Boil sugar syrup from water and sugar. The amount of sugar depends on your taste and whether you use fresh or canned pineapple. Cut the pineapple pulp into pieces and put in a blender bowl, bring to a puree state. Add sugar syrup, lemon juice to the pineapple puree, mix everything and pour into molds for fruit ice... If necessary, you can insert ice cream sticks into the molds. Remove popsicles in freezer until completely frozen.

Fruit ice "Strawberry Delight"

Ingredients:

  • Strawberry - 500 g,
  • Sugar - 200 g
  • Water - 400 ml,
  • Starch (optional) - 20 g.

Preparation:

Boil water and add sugar. Sort the strawberries, rinse, dry and cook over low heat in sugar syrup for 15 minutes. Then beat the mass with a blender. Add starch diluted in a small amount of water in a quiet stream, mix everything well, cool and pour into ice cream molds. Place the molds in the freezer.

Fruit ice "Lemon Blast"

Ingredients:

  • Lemon - 2-3 pcs.,
  • Sugar - 150 g
  • Water - 100 ml,
  • Gelatin - 5 g.

Preparation:

Grind the zest of one lemon. Squeeze juice from lemons. Prepare syrup from water and sugar, put the zest in it, cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Let the mixture stand for a while and strain. Add pre-soaked gelatin, mix well until it is completely dissolved. Then add lemon juice, stir, cool and pour into molds. Place them in the freezer.

  • To make homemade juice ice cream, use only fresh fruits and berries.
  • Wash the components thoroughly and remove any damaged areas. Make juice or fruit ice puree just before cooking.
  • If making popsicles using syrup, use as little water as possible. The more concentrated the juice, the tastier the ice cream will be.
  • Ice cream made from strained juice turns out to be more transparent, but also denser. Ice cream made from fruit juice with pulp or from fruit puree will be looser and softer, and with a richer taste.
  • After preparing the mass for fruit ice, pour it into silicone or plastic molds, and place in the freezer. After 1-2 hours, when the mass thickens, insert a stick or straw into the center of each mold, and return to the freezer until completely frozen.
  • If the popsicle is difficult to remove from the mold, dip it in hot water for a second.

How to make juice ice cream at home

Strawberry banana fruit ice

Ingredients:

Large banana - 1pc.
Large strawberries - 12 pcs.
Cherry or Orange juice

Cut the banana into slices and freeze. Grind the frozen banana pieces into crumbs in a blender. Add strawberries and beat until thick puree.
Pour the juice into the puree, stir with a spoon. Pour the mass into molds and freeze.

Fruit ice at home from apples and strawberries

Ingredients:

Strawberries - 400 gr.
Apple juice - 200 gr.
Honey or maple syrup - 3 tbsp l.
Puree the strawberries in a blender, add apple juice and honey. Mix everything, pour into molds and freeze.

Blueberry popsicles

Ingredients:

Blueberries - 700 gr.
Honey - 100 gr.
Juice of 1 lemon.

Puree all ingredients in a blender. Pour into a mold and freeze.

I made popsicles from freshly squeezed orange juice, but other natural ones, better freshly squeezed, are perfect. fruit juices... To make fruit ice, we need:

2-3 oranges;

100 g of cherries (you can do without it or take berries to taste).

Cooking steps

Wash and dry oranges. Cut the oranges in half. Squeeze the juice out of the orange using a juicer. If you do not have a juicer, you can squeeze out the juice by hand, only then strain it through a sieve.

I got 3 molds with pieces of berries and 3 molds with orange juice.

Put the molds with juice in the freezer until they freeze completely. I put the prepared popsicles on overnight.

Of course, the easiest way is to throw a bottle, another mineral water into the refrigerator and enjoy the desired coolness! Well, not a bad option. It's much more interesting to have lemon ice in the freezer for lemonade.

It is easier to say for which diseases lemons do not help, than for which ones they help. but a large number of the acids in lemon juice destroy tooth enamel and can cause heartburn. Therefore, doctors recommend eating lemons not in pure form, not drinking hot tea with lemon, since most of the vitamins are destroyed in boiling water, but drinking lemon water. It is better if it is cold lemon water or a drink at room temperature. It is very convenient to prepare lemon juice in advance and keep it as ice in the freezer.

Making lemon ice, like any fruit ice, is very quick and easy. So let's get started.

    First of all, of course, wash the lemons, cut them across into halves.

    Use a citrus juicer to squeeze out the juice.

    We pour the juice into molds and send it to the freezer.

    Helpful advice:

    If you decide to make lemon ice, collect the zest of the lemon before squeezing out the juice. Why should the good be lost? To get the lemon zest, you just need to cut off the yellow layer of the lemon skin with a thin knife. And the easiest way is to simply rub the lemon skin on the finest grater.

    Lemon zest is used in cooking when baking muffins, cakes, charlottes, muffins, soufflés and puddings. You can add it to fish, meat dishes... A pinch of lemon zest added to the salad dressing will give it a fresh, zesty flavor.

    With lemon juice ice cubes, you can make it very quickly or simply add it to water.

    Other recipes for making popsicles

    Peel the kiwi fruit (400 g), cut into pieces and place in a blender bowl. Grind. Pour the kiwi puree into a small saucepan. Combine starch (2 tablespoons) and some cold water in a glass. Stir these ingredients until smooth. Then add the liquid starch to the kiwi puree. Add sugar there (to taste) and send the saucepan to the stove. Wait until the mass of kiwi, sugar and starch boils. Turn off heating.

    Orange fruit ice... Squeeze the juice out of three large oranges (600 g). In a small deep saucepan, heat water (100 ml) along with sugar (75 g). After the syrup has boiled, add the orange juice to the saucepan. In a separate bowl, combine the starch (2 tablespoons) and a small amount of cold water. Add the starch mixture to the saucepan and the orange syrup. Wait for the mixture to boil. Turn off heating.

    Strawberry ice. In a blender bowl, grind clean strawberries (400 g) with sugar (50 g) and a mixture of starch (2 tablespoons) and water. Pour this mixture into a saucepan, bring to a boil, turn off the heat.

    Pour a layer of strawberry, orange or kiwi puree into portioned flat tins for making ice cream on a stick. Insert wooden sticks. Freeze until completely solid. If you want to make striped multicolored popsicles, add each puree to the mold one at a time, freezing the first layer first, then adding the second, etc.

    1. Wash the berries. Beat the strawberries with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Then beat the blueberries separately with one tablespoon of sugar. And in a separate bowl, mix low-fat yogurt with 2 tablespoons of sugar.
    2. Prepare the molds and lay out strawberries, blueberries in layers and top with yogurt. Put your homemade ice cream in the refrigerator, and when it hardens a little, insert the sticks into it.

    Fruit ice with Mojito


    What we need:

    1 glass of water
    ¾ glasses of sugar
    1 glass of rum
    1.5 cups sprite or soda
    1-2 limes
    mint leaves (about 20 leaves)

    How to make mojito popsicles

    1. First you need to make the sugar syrup. To do this, pour water into a saucepan, add sugar and put mint leaves. Stir occasionally and bring to a boil. After that, make the maximum heat and cook the mint for 1 minute. Reduce heat and simmer mint for another 3 minutes. Turn off the heat, put the syrup to cool, then decant it, and the mint leaves can be thrown away.
    2. While the syrup is cooling, pour the soda into a glass and use a spoon to knock out the bubbles a little. Then cut up the limes and squeeze the juice out.
    3. In a bowl, mix the cooled mint syrup, rum, soda and lime juice. Pour the mojito into the molds and set to freeze. When the Mojito ice cream has hardened a little, insert the sticks into it.

    Fruit ice with coconut and raspberries

    What we need:

    400 ml coconut milk
    350 g raspberries
    4 tbsp. spoons of honey
    1 ripe banana
    5 tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice

    How to make coconut and raspberry popsicles

    1. Add 2 tablespoons of honey to coconut milk, mix. Pour 1/3 of the milk into a separate bowl.
    2. Pour most of the coconut milk into a blender, add the rest of the honey, add the chopped banana and raspberries. Beat until smooth. Pour into molds, leaving a little space, and pour the remaining coconut milk on top - this is done for visual effect.
    3. When the coconut and raspberry ice cream hardens a little, insert the sticks into it. It is advisable to leave it in the freezer overnight.

    Fruit ice with watermelon

    What we need:

    ½ cup soda water
    1 lime
    3 tbsp. spoons of honey
    4 cups watermelon, diced

    How to make watermelon popsicles

    1. Slightly beat the bubbles out of the soda with a spoon. Add freshly squeezed lime juice and honey to it. Mix well (you can use a blender).
    2. Cut the watermelon into cubes, trying to get all the bones out of the pulp. Put the watermelon in a blender, add the soda and honey and mix.
    3. Pour the watermelon mixture into molds and freeze. When it hardens a little, insert sticks into the ice cream.

    In this recipe, you can substitute coconut water for soda - it's delicious.

    Fruit ice with peach


    What we need:

    50 g ginger root
    ½ glass of water
    1/3 cup sugar
    2 ripe peaches

    How to make peach popsicles

    1. Peel the ginger root and cut into small pieces. Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar and toss in the ginger root. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer syrup for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then set the syrup aside to cool.
    2. Strain the cooled syrup through a sieve, discarding the ginger. Chop the peach pulp, place in a blender, add water and beat. Add syrup to the peach mixture and stir.
    3. Pour the ginger juice into the molds and freeze. After a while, insert sticks into the ice cream.
