Ingredients:

  • 1 kg. chicken meat (not fillet, but I would buy a whole chicken and cut the meat, and the bones also come in handy for broth);
  • gelatin - 30 gr.;
  • garlic - 3-4 cloves;
  • salt / pepper to taste;
  • greens to taste (I add basil);
  • nutmeg- 0.5 tsp;
  • plastic bottle.

  1. Cut chicken meat into small pieces, salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Place in a skillet or rooster and simmer for 45 minutes with a little water. If the chicken is store-bought, then you don't need to add water at all.
  3. Pour gelatin with warm water, but not boiling water. Leave until completely swollen.
  4. Add chopped garlic, nutmeg, herbs to taste into the broth that remained after stewing the chicken. Mix the broth with the gelatin.

  1. Immediately pour all the gelatin with a glass of warm water. While I am doing the rest, it will swell.
  2. Cut the chicken into smaller pieces.
  3. I put them in a frying pan. Note that no fat should be added.... Then I close the dishes with a lid and simmer the chicken for 40 minutes over low heat. Juice begins to stand out, which at the end of cooking should remain in the pan about half a glass.
  4. Ten minutes before the end of stewing, add salt, pepper and spices. Then I remove the finished fillet from the heat. Let it cool down a little.
  5. When the chicken was cooking, I sautéed finely chopped onions and garlic in butter. If it will be used for frying vegetables vegetable oil, there may be a problem with the roll freezing.
  6. I bring the swollen gelatin to liquid state in a water bath.
  7. Chop chicken fillet into smaller parts.
  8. I add onion and garlic stir-fry to it.
  9. I pour in green peas. Pour all the juice left over from stewing the chicken from the pan and stir until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  10. I pour in the diluted gelatin. As you can see in the photo, there should be enough liquid so that it reaches the top of the products. But at the same time, they did not swim in it. If not enough, top up with green pea marinade. This is exactly what I did. Among other things, this will give the chicken roll an additional tasty quality.

  1. I cut off the top of the bottle.
  2. I transfer the contents of the bowl into it.
  3. I take a pusher and lightly crush the chicken, thereby expelling the air trapped between its pieces.
  4. I put a bottle of chicken gelatin platter in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. This time is enough for the roll to solidify completely.
  5. Then I carefully cut the plastic container.

I shift the appetizer into a suitable dish, cut it into portioned pieces and, with a sense of accomplishment, smear it with mustard.
