- We had a task for a maximum of 1.5 months to make overhaul Old Khrushchevka. We have heard many opinions that it is almost unrealistic, but we had no choice.

We knew that the kitchens make for about two months, so when the builders took up the work, first of all went to search for the kitchen.

The initial data were such: incomplete 6 "squares" and a large dislike for mounted cabinets. At the same time, they wanted to squeeze the dishwasher, in no case put the table and make a place for a stylist board so that it performs the function of an internal family messenger.

From the idea to combine the kitchen with the room refused: it was delayed deadlines, and I did not want to deprive yourself of another insulated room. In general, the kitchen saw a stylish, cozy, functional, pleasant and unjustable.

I needed a person who would help to realize our desires in reality. We were lucky, we found a designer who thought over all the little things and helped us very much, drawing what we wanted. A veneer was chosen as a material, something mean between the array and paint (both in terms of cost, and according to the characteristics).

The difficulty was still in the fact that at the time of the measurement was not made the dismantling of old walls and gender. - Last year I actively followed the project "My Kitchen" and even wanted to participate in the competition, but the birth of a child pushed the idea to the background. Very delighted when I saw that the competition was launched again. It turned out even better: we lived another year in our kitchen and not just so, but with a small "tester."

When we were talking about the acquisition of my own housing, we definitely decided on the fact that it should be a new building. Once B. concrete WallsAnd my husband and I even were confused slightly. His phrase "Well, why start?" We then remembered long. Indeed: and starting from what? Before that, we did not come across the repair in the new apartment.

We knew little about repair and did not really focus. But in the head there was an understanding that the kitchen, bathroom and bathroom should be made so that at least 15 days did not want to redo anything. And so that during these years 15 did not sore head about the broken crane, the creaking facade door in the kitchen, the tiles that cannot be laundered ...

We ourselves did not risk thinking of furniture placement plan. We decided to trust professionals. Our stereotype is that good to cost a good cheap confirmed. Familiar told about the cabin with German furniture. They themselves ordered furniture a couple of years ago. Of course, we thought at first that there would certainly be not just expensive, but very expensive. You know, german quality. But we were convicted, and we still decided to look, more from curiosity.

And they immediately understood that in the furniture here you know. Both the interior and the reigning atmosphere in the salon were tuned to a pleasant way. We decided not immediately with the kitchen. Some options we were not pulled at the money at all, something was acceptable, but not exactly what you need. We decided to make the kitchen such that everyone would be convenient to use. Today, this kitchen is ideal for me. I am so accustomed to it and, if you have to cook somewhere in the other kitchen, I feel uncomfortable.

Now a little about the functional part. All I advise top drawers to do with the folding door system. When I cook, I open both drawers, and I have everything at hand. I did not regret the built-in refrigerator. Yes, it has a slightly smaller room rather than normal. But we would not have noticed if we were not warned.
