House in an oriental style project. House decoration in oriental style

Oriental-style house designs are no doubt especially popular in the luxury resorts of the United Arab Emirates. Today we invite our readers to get acquainted with one of the amazing mansions reminiscent of the tales of the Thousand and One Nights.

The young but already world famous Egyptian designer Muhammad Taher belongs to a new generation of architects (he received his education in 2007), who start their project behind a PC keyboard. His favorites among the tools he uses are 3ds Max and Vray. The Tuscan-style villa project we are considering was not only implemented in Dubai (UAE), but is also presented as the main page of many sites dedicated to computer design modeling.

The freshness of the project idea lies in the fact that the modern interior design in natural, warm colors and the traditional look of the house with an unchanged tiled roof from the hospitable province of Italy, where it originated, was transferred to an Arab country. And, despite other local architectural traditions, it was adopted.

If you look at the facade, the house seems light, airy, compact, symmetrical, but from the side, from the side of either of its two wings, the view is transformed: harmonious asymmetry, volume and spaciousness become noticeable. On the right side of the house, behind the classic European wrought-iron gates with automatic control, there is the main entrance to the territory of the mansion.

Near the smaller wing of the building - the right wing, bounded by the entrance and the courtyard - there is a small two-storey outbuilding for the servants. The left wing of the house was extended in depth to accommodate the kitchen, laundry and service rooms. Color solution The facade reminds of Italy - the combination of calm and rich beige and light yellow with bright live green of plants looks quite Florentine. Near the basement, the walls are decorated with brown mosaics.

The terrace of the house begins under the inner arch of the building and encloses in a regular wide ring a graceful, stylized as a European palace pond, a perfectly round pool decorated with mosaics. And the recreation area, equipped on the terrace around the pool, is decorated in an oriental rather than a European style.

On the opposite side, the estate is decorated with a gazebo. This is an oriental, graceful tent, topped with a perfectly white fabric, wicker furniture and a Moroccan pouf armchair.

The features of the mansion's interior are typical for the nobles of the Arab countries. Living rooms occupy the first floor from the side of the house facade. On the second floor there are bedrooms and bathrooms.

Sheikhs are sheikhs ... invariably adorned with numerous inlays of semi-precious stones on the walls; their beds are huge, exclusive, with fine carvings; their kitchens rival those of luxury restaurants in size and equipment; their bathrooms are reminiscent of a small spa salon.

The participants of the entertaining forum can only state the ideality of the dream house from Muhammad Taher, because it is surprisingly harmonious outwardly and cozy inside.

Choosing the style for an apartment or a room, many of us would like to take a break from the bustle of megacities, plunging into the exotic and relaxing atmosphere of the East. However, when it comes to choosing specific details, it turns out that by "oriental interior" some understand strict Japanese minimalism, others - a Moroccan riot of colors, and still others - Chinese dragons. There are many varieties of oriental style in the interior, so we would like to help you navigate through the mass of oriental exoticism and not be mistaken with the choice color palette, finishing materials and decor.

Choosing an oriental interior style, you should immediately understand that, despite the proximity of cultures, and geographic location, Chinese and Japanese approaches to home decoration are strikingly different from each other.

Pay attention to the original headboard and Japanese lamps in the interior of the bedroom, Cinius

The main feature of the Japanese style in the interior is minimalism, which is at the origin of almost all design of the 20th century. It is characterized by a restrained, pacifying atmosphere, in which there is no place for unnecessary details and objects. If you are inclined to collect travel souvenirs or collect all sorts of small things, this style is definitely not for you. But those who like to get away from the hustle and bustle and be alone with themselves in such an interior will definitely be comfortable.

Japanese philosophers propose to abandon everything superficial and vain by approaching nature, which is why natural materials prevail in the interior: wooden floors and furniture, partitions and lamps with paper lampshades, handmade ceramics, wicker bamboo mats on the floor or walls, natural fabrics, for example , silk and cotton. A few ikebana bouquets will also help you feel away from civilization.

The art of growing dwarf trees (bonsai) and making exquisite bouquets (ikebana) is a matter of legitimate pride for the Japanese and a great way to decorate your home.

The desire to be closer to nature determines the color scheme of the interior. The Japanese interior is dominated by restrained, natural colors: subtle shades of brown, beige, cream, olive and white. Color contrasts are also allowed, corresponding to the Japanese philosophy of struggle and unity of opposites, yin and yang. In the interior, this can manifest itself, for example, in a contrasting combination of dark wenge-colored furniture with white or light beige accessories and textiles.

A characteristic detail of a Japanese-style bedroom is very low bed broad base, Cinius

Light and space perception are very important factors for recreating the atmosphere of the Land of the Rising Sun. The maximum free space not cluttered with furniture and small items is achieved due to the fact that all things are hidden behind the sliding walls of the built-in wardrobes, the minimum amount of simple furniture, which, as a rule, is much lower than the usual European one.

Partitions and screens, divided into squares - an easy way to add Japanese flavor to the interior

The feeling of free space and closeness to nature is also emphasized by the right lighting. In the Japanese interior, there is no place for massive curtains made of heavy fabrics, because natural light should penetrate into the room as much as possible. They will be replaced by roller blinds or so-called Japanese curtains. Artificial light should be soft and diffused, for which traditional lamps with rice paper lampshades are perfect.

Harmonious, dull and minimalistic - this is how the interior in the Japanese style should turn out, and the missing color can be brought by carefully selected accessories: sliding screens, silk fans, paintings in the technique of batik, ikebana or imitation of traditional weapons.

Of course, you can find similarities between the Chinese and Japanese styles in the interior, but in essence they are very, very different. That is why it is so important not to try to combine their characteristic details in one room and to observe the main features of the chosen direction.

Chinese Style Furniture Carving and Decor Sample

There is no question of any restraint and minimalism in the Chinese interior. Luxury, abundance of decor, rich colors - this style is perfect for those who want to create a representative and respectable interior.

One of the most characteristic features of a Chinese interior is a contrasting color scheme, usually based on a combination warm shades(red, orange) with black. Massive furniture made of dark lacquered wood with an abundance of carved decor against the background of smoothly painted walls in red tones - this is what a typical room looks like in this style. The use of gold paint in the decor is appropriate, however, with it, a sense of proportion should be observed.

Walls in Chinese interiors are either brightly painted or decorated paper wallpaper, because it was in this country that they were once invented. Typical motives of painting: fancifully curved trees, flowers, stylized dragons, birds with lush plumage. As a floor covering, it is appropriate to choose a tile that imitates a natural stone, or dark parquet. The Chinese also prefer the most natural materials: bamboo, natural wood, paper and ceramics.

Chinese-style tableware and accessories

Chinese furniture is distinguished by its massive solidity and an abundance of decorative elements from metal plates and fittings to refined inlays of various types of wood, mother of pearl or even ivory. As a rule, furnishings are covered with several layers of black varnish - a technique that Chinese craftsmen have perfected for many centuries, achieving a perfect shiny surface.

As in the case of Japanese interiors, a true oriental interior cannot do without a philosophical background. At the heart of the Chinese style is, of course, the teachings of Feng Shui, which tells about the correct orientation of the premises to the cardinal points, the choice of symbols and accessories, or the arrangement of furniture. Many of the rules of Feng Shui cannot be applied to modern houses, however, some of the recommendations, if desired, may well be followed.

The East is multifaceted, and Moroccan interiors have very little in common with Chinese and Japanese. The culture of Morocco has absorbed the influence of Africa, Asia and the Arab countries. African influences brought a love of warmth to Moroccan interiors. colors, rich in shades of orange, red, terracotta, brown and yellow. Arab culture added gold, turquoise, dark purple colors to the palette, and the influence of Asia was embodied in the love of white, which is often used for wall decoration and serves as an excellent backdrop for a riot of bright colors.

home distinctive feature interior design in the Moroccan style - multicolor, an abundance of patterns and colors, as well as a love of textiles. Various draperies, soft poufs, sofa cushions Mandatory carpets - this style is a real treat for all lovers of lush curtains and luxurious fabrics. In addition to them, copper lamps, candlesticks and icon lamps with embossing and inserts of colored glass will help to give the room a Moroccan flavor.

Colors and textures suitable for Moroccan interiors

The floors in such an interior are usually tiled with stone or large tiles of a warm shade, which is typical for all southern countries. If such flooring seems too cold to you, it can be replaced by a rude parquet board or even inlaid parquet. For walls, a simple or textured plaster, and for wet rooms - a mosaic with oriental ornaments.

Moroccan style bedroom interior

Another characteristic feature of the Moroccan interior: niches in the walls and arched openings of a characteristic shape. They can be decorated with metal or wooden gratings, which can be used as screens, screens for heating appliances or just decor for walls and openings.

The Moroccan interior is characterized by dark wood furniture, decorated with carvings, inlays and even mosaics. An obligatory attribute of such an interior is an abundance soft sofas, armchairs, ottomans and poufs. Plush upholstery fabrics, an abundance of draperies and pillows should maximize relaxation and bliss.

A copper jug and carved screens are characteristic of the interiors of many countries that have been strongly influenced by Arab culture.

Of course, few people are ready to recreate this or that ethnic interior in a city apartment with scrupulous accuracy. Often we are talking about styling and creating a light atmosphere with one or another bias, thanks to which it is enough neutral interior will sparkle with new colors. Several accessories, 1-2 characteristic pieces of furniture and correctly selected colors will allow you to create your favorite oriental interior without unnecessary effort and cost. The main thing is not to forget about functionality and observe a sense of proportion, because we are talking about the room where you will have to live, and not about the exposition in the museum of ethnography.

The countries of the East have always been famous for their grandeur and exceptional outlook on life. The increased interest in everything new and unusual led to the fact that many began to wonder how the interior of a house in an oriental style should look like. Today it is complemented by notes of European Art Nouveau, but has managed to preserve its identity.

Thanks to the historical course of events, colonial conquests, dictated politics and lively trade, in the 18th century Europe first felt the first influences of Eastern cultures. The first steps towards acquaintance were philosophical treatises, architecture and theater. Some household items, such as porcelain, fans, screens, etc., played a certain role. From that time on, Europeans began to imbue with the spirit of Eastern culture.

The uniqueness of the aforementioned style lies in the fact that, despite its brightness and richness, it radiates peace, beauty and harmony. The architectural trend includes various elements of Asian, Indian and Arab culture. Another unusual fact is the ability to embody oriental style in the interior of houses in the spirit of minimalism, focusing on a small number of Asian motives, or use a considerable number of accessories that will make the oriental interior more intense. “The East is a delicate matter”, every detail needs stylistic elaboration.

Oriental style of the house: features

Since all countries and, accordingly, cultures have their own customs, it is necessary to take them into account and highlight similar characteristics. One color scheme should prevail in the house, be it bright or calm. Against the background of warm shades, there may be some details of a rich color, but their amount should not be conspicuous. The oriental style denies contrasts and experiments. Often interior of houses in oriental style not without natural materials... Wood, bamboo, reed as a basis for furniture and silk, cotton, satin as a material for finishing pillows, poufs and other interior details. Due to the fact that oriental men are famous for their wood carving skills, surely everyone houses in oriental style must be filled with handicrafts. We are talking about both furniture and decor. Inlaid with precious stones or metals is especially popular.

One more characteristic feature is low furniture. The Europeans did not immediately like this feature, but over time they appreciated this decision. The softness of the forms is explained by an attempt to create a cozy atmosphere that would give warmth and peace. It is worth mentioning that oriental style home famous for its wall paintings and original ornaments. The presence of small mosaics as wall decor is also an obligatory tradition of the Eastern peoples. The many different hand-embroidered pillows and poufs are ideal for completing your oriental setting. After the final stylistic chord, not only the house will look especially emphasized, but also

Few of our clients dare to build a house for permanent residence in an exotic style. But our last work was just from the category of non-standard architectural projects. The client needed a Chinese-style guest house project.

By the time of the client's request, the foundations of all the planned structures had already been erected on his site - a house, a garage and a guest house. The first two were designed in another agency, but the client decided to order the guest house from us.

According to the plan, the entire ensemble of structures should be using elements of Chinese architecture.

Chinese style. What is he?

Having decided to build a house in the Chinese style, you need to be faithful to it to the end. After all main feature style - the philosophical meaning of the surrounding material things. Each detail is ordered and harmonious, conveys one or another energy force according to the teachings of Feng Shui.

Start unified system is taken already in the natural landscape on which the future building will be located. A Chinese-style structure should, as it were, blend in with the surrounding landscape, look as natural as, for example, trees or flowers in a garden.

Therefore, for Chinese architecture, smooth lines are characteristic, the use natural materials, natural colors.

Natural wood was often used in the decoration of the outside of the house, which was covered with bright red or black varnish.

The recognizable shape of the Chinese roof has a high roof with steep slopes due to natural feature Celestial Empire - with frequent torrential rains, as well as the philosophical side where mythology associated with dragons occupies a very important place.

A Chinese-style house should be bathed in sunlight. For this purpose, it is not even customary to curtain windows, and window openings are made in large sizes.

The use of gilded and mother-of-pearl details in decoration is typical. Images of dragons are typical decorative elements. The image of a Chinese home would not be complete without the typical street lamps decorated with tassels and painted with hieroglyphs.

Chinese style house project in a modern application

Take a look at the photo of our guest house with elements of the surrounding landscape. The territory near the building is framed with winding stone paths, the same smoothness of lines can be traced in the structure of the house itself and its constituent parts - from the curved roof, ending with ornate images of dragons on the corners of the roof, decorative balls of the terrace railing, concave table legs in the barbecue gazebo. The presence of stones in the exterior can be mistaken for a stone garden.

The roof was designed only as an imitation of the Chinese one (without the use of special construction technology, far protruding corners and multi-tiered roofs).

In the design of our house in the Chinese style, we used facing brick, natural stone, wooden consoles, flexible shingles, decking and natural wood of noble breeds.

The entire exterior of the building is planned on the "natural" harmonious contrast of light and dark (almost black) shades natural wood, so naturally fit into the natural landscape.

A characteristic feature of the Chinese style is the large window openings, ready to warm the inhabitants of the house with life-giving sunlight... The glasses are decorated with an abundance of intersected perpendicular lines of the frame binding, forming rectangles of different sizes. Such elements are also typical of Chinese houses.

The luster of mother-of-pearl is present in the decoration of decorative balls on the terrace railing. The red color in the exterior is only indicated in the decor by hieroglyphs and tassels of street lamps.

The internal structure of the guest house

Plan indoor spaces according to the project of the guest house, it is no different from any country cottage. There is a vestibule, a living room-kitchen-dining room, a bedroom, a dressing room, a bathroom, as well as a covered terrace with a barbecue gazebo and a woodshed for pleasant outdoor feasts.

The total building area is 152.5 sq. m.

An integral part of any country house- fireplace - will be located in a cozy living-kitchen-dining room. Combining three rooms will make the room brighter, more spacious and more convenient for serving guests.

Conclusion

Houses in the Chinese style in modern architecture have received a new wave of distribution thanks to the now fashionable hobby of Feng Shui. The territorial proximity of China and Russia has always contributed to the significant influence of the Chinese centuries-old traditions to our culture.

Living in a house built in the Chinese style will be comfortable and easy for seekers, striving for harmony, and even prone to mysticism. The closeness to natural principles is the best way to promote relaxation and filling with internal energy.

Try to plunge into oriental exoticism and launch the harmony of Feng Shui into your life.
