In just 9 years, a quarter of the country's population has been provided with housing. And to this day, the Khrushchevs make up a significant part of the housing stock. They give way to new houses only in the central districts of the capital and other large cities, while in the provinces the Khrushchevs will stand for a long time. Their resource, which was previously 50 years old, was revised and increased to 150 years, subject to major overhauls.
