How to put a grid on plastic windows. How to install a mosquito net on a plastic window? Installation of a sliding mosquito net

They made mosquito nets for me, according to my size (about how to measure it correctly). All that remains is to install mosquito nets on my windows. There is nothing complicated here, but there are small nuances that should be taken into account, read more below ...

I want to warn you right away, mosquito nets are attached outside the window and therefore if you have a high floor you need to be very careful not to fall out of the window!

Well, let's not delay, I give step-by-step instructions.

1) What do we need. The "mosquito" itself, fasteners (I bought them from the manufacturer 40 rubles set, 4 pieces), self-tapping screws 3 * 2 mm, tape measure and pencil.

2) We estimate the "mosquito" on the window, if you measured everything correctly (), then your mesh should go with the plastic edges on the window, and the mesh itself should be in an open space, we look.

3) It is by the plastic edges that our mosquito net will hold, as a rule, they are 2 cm in size.

4) Now we need to set aside 2 cm at the bottom, but it is better to take about 3 cm with a margin. We mark, from the edges of the opening, the lower fasteners should be at a distance of 8 - 10 cm, this is the optimal size that has been checked!

5) After marking, you need to horizontally fix the lower mounts, we take and fasten them according to the marks, everything is done with a screwdriver in seconds, a screwdriver is also not long!

6) After you have fixed the lower fasteners, put the mesh, look nothing should interfere

7) It remains to fix the side mounts, they are mounted vertically, I personally attach them just below the corner of the window, so it is convenient to insert the mesh later. We also put aside 3 cm on the sides (with a margin) and install the fasteners.

Mosquito netting for plastic windows is an important accessory for the summer period. Manufacturers of plastic windows offer mosquito nets complete with window frames, but branded designs are not cheap, and multiplying the number of nets by the number of windows in an apartment will make a round sum. More budget option is a self-made insect screen - it will be just as effective, aesthetic, durable and lightweight. And to create it you will need only a couple of hours of time and a simple tool.

Pleated insect net.

Types of mosquito nets

Mosquito nets can be of several types:

  • Framed. They represent an aluminum frame with a stretched panel. This is the only type of structure that allows you to make a mesh of various geometric shapes, while other structures can be exclusively rectangular. Effective, easy to install, inexpensive and durable. They protect the room not only from mosquitoes, but also from sand and even dust, prevent animals from falling out of the window.
  • Pleated. These are modern, high-tech mosquito nets, the fabric of which is made of special plastic. The principle of operation is similar to an accordion. Pleated designs are great for large windows (width and height over 3 m).
  • Rolled. The design involves folding the mesh into a roll cassette in case of irrelevance (for the winter), while there is no need to dismantle the system. Due to this, the structure is less worn out and has a longer service life. The advantage is space saving.
  • Sliding. This design works according to the principle sliding doors... Used for sliding windows and doors on balconies, terraces, verandas. To reliably close the gaps around the perimeter in sliding systems, a special sealing nap is used.

Also, the nets may differ based on other parameters: the method of fastening (with Velcro / brackets / hooks / pins), by the presence of the frame (frame / frameless), at the place of installation (external / internal).

Characteristics of structures and features of choice

To be sure to determine the type of construction, the following points must be taken into account:

  1. Window opening frequency.
  2. House type (private / multi-storey). In the case of an apartment building, the number of storeys is also taken into account.
  3. Window frame material (wood / plastic).
  4. For plastic windows, the type of sash opening is taken into account: hinged, pivoting, folding, combined.
  5. When choosing the material of the panel, the features of the terrain (dustiness, poplar fluff), as well as the presence of pets in the house, are taken into account.

The main functional element of the insect screen is precisely the cloth, therefore, when choosing it, take into account the following parameters:

  • thickness;
  • cell size;
  • the shape of the cells;
  • type of material and its strength.

To understand what size of cells you need, decide on the type of insects in your area, as well as other nuances (the presence of poplar, dustiness of the territory, etc.). The largest cells are considered to be 3.7 * 3.7 mm in size. If the holes are larger, they will not be able to protect against the penetration of mosquitoes and flies, not to mention midges and small debris. Cells of 3 * 3 mm are considered standard and are suitable for most areas. Cells measuring 2 * 2 and 1.5 * 1.5 mm perfectly protect against mosquitoes and midges (small Diptera). The section of 1 * 1 mm and 1 * 0.25 mm allows you to protect the room not only from insects, but also from fluff, fine debris, sand and even dust.

The most common types of cells:

  1. Anti-dust - section 1.5 * 1.5 mm (also 1 * 1 mm). Strong and wear-resistant, protects against large and small insects, but the light transmission is low, therefore it is recommended to use the Anti-Dust cloth only in southern regions with high insolation.
  2. - designed to protect the room from mosquitoes and flies (ineffective against gnat), good air and light permeability. The cross section can be 2.5 * 2.5 mm or 2.5 * 3.5 mm. For production, polyester is used, impregnated with a special substance.
  3. Standard - section 3 * 3 mm, average strength.

The main types of mosquito nets by appointment.

Cells are most often rectangular and hexagonal, like honeycombs. The former perfectly retain dust, but poorly transmit light and air. Hexagonal cells are suitable for areas with an abundance of gnats and little sunlight in the summer.

In terms of material, mosquito nets were previously made of PVC-coated fiberglass. Such material is now considered ineffective and outdated: it does not pass well sunlight and air, and after a short time the panel itself turns into a dust collector due to destruction under the influence of ultraviolet radiation. For the manufacture of modern nets polyester is used.

The color of the panel is important - contrary to popular belief, a light panel greatly reduces the clarity and contrast of the picture, but increases the visibility of the room from the outside. Therefore, when choosing a panel, you need to focus on dark colors: black, brown, gray.

After you have familiarized yourself with the main types and parameters of structures for plastic windows, and have decided on the choice, you can start making stacks on the window from mosquitoes with your own hands. At home, it is easiest to make a simple frameless mesh (stationary and removable) or a frame structure.

Frameless mesh fabrication

The most budgetary, lightest and fast way is the manufacture of a stationary mesh. This requires a minimum amount of materials:

  • Cloth (dimensions correspond to the parameters of the window with an increase of 1 cm on each side).
  • Cloth tape (length equal to the perimeter of the panel) for better adhesion of surfaces.
  • Glue for fixing the structure.
  • Metal buttons for additional fixation in case of wooden windows.

The course of work is as simple as possible: you need to measure the parameters of the window and cut out a panel of the appropriate size, attach a tape to the glue around the perimeter of the panel and then glue the mesh panel itself to the fabric tape. All work will have to spend about an hour.

This design has one significant drawback - it cannot be opened or removed for repair / cleaning. When the need arises for washing, the entire structure will have to be dismantled and, after the work done, reinstalled.

You can learn how to make a frameless mesh on burdock buttons from the video:

Detachable design

It makes more sense to opt for a removable Velcro design. This option is also cost effective, fast and efficient. However, its obvious advantage is that it is “reusable” - if necessary, the net can be opened slightly or completely removed for washing. And if you choose high-quality glue (for example, Tytan transparent rubber assembly glue), then it can be removed without a trace, which is especially important for the preservation of the attractive appearance of the windows.

Mosquito net on burdock tape.

Necessary materials:

  • Mosquito canvas.
  • Construction glue.
  • Velcro tape.
  • Threads and a needle.

The work progress is as follows:

  • Measure the inner quarter of the window frame - the structure will be attached to it.
  • Cut the strip and the Velcro to the desired size.
  • On the mounting glue, attach one side of the Velcro (the one with the hooks) to the window frame, and sew the second part of the Velcro (fleecy) along the perimeter of the mesh.

Before fixing the Velcro to the frame, the window must be thoroughly washed from dirt and degreased with alcohol - this will achieve better adhesion.

You need to remove the mesh very carefully - in the process, the fleecy part of the Velcro can be detached from the panel. Therefore, such frameless structures are often installed on balconies, terraces and other rooms, where they remain to serve throughout the year.

Burst buttons or soft bipolar magnetic tape can be an effective alternative to conventional Velcro.

Making a frame mesh

Frame structures will take longer to manufacture, but they will also be able to last longer. This option is suitable not only for windows, but also for doors.

To make a mosquito net for a window (for wooden or plastic windows) with your own hands, prepare the following materials and tools:

  • Anti-mosquito cloth (window dimensions + 10 cm allowance on each side).
  • Cable channel with rectangular section 10 * 15 mm.
  • Metal corners (4 pcs.).
  • Blind rivets (16 pcs.).
  • Assembly adhesive.
  • Roulette.
  • Scissors and a knife.
  • Electric drill.

Cable channel with rectangular section 10 * 15 mm

Blind rivets for fastening the structure

The process of manufacturing a structure consists of the following stages:

  • Measure the window and cut the frame from the cable duct accordingly. The ends should be at a 45 ° angle.
  • Connect the structure using corners and rivets, having previously drilled holes in the profile.
  • Cut out the mosquito net according to the measurements of the frame and leave allowances of 2-3 cm around the entire perimeter.
  • Starting from the long side part, we clamp the panel with the cover of the cable channel.
  • The sheet should be attached evenly, without distortions and sagging. To do this, you need to start fastening from the long side, then move on to the opposite side. It is best to do this step with an assistant, since a slight tension must be created in the mesh.
  • Excess fabric should be cut off with scissors.
  • For greater strength and fixation, as well as to prevent snapping, some places can be additionally fastened with glue (applied between the profile and the cover).

Methods for fixing the frame structure

After the construction of the mosquito-repellent frame structure, it must be attached to the window. There are several ways to do this:

  • With plungers. A very simple fastening, however, it has a number of disadvantages: they spoil the window frame, poorly hold (can be blown away by the wind when fastened externally), are quite expensive.
  • With the help of Z-profiles. it reliable way fastening, in which the whole structure looks very compact, neat, takes up a minimum of space. The disadvantage is the loss of the warranty on the window frames as a result of drilling them under the fasteners.

Also, this method of installation is extremely dangerous for self-fastening on multi-storey buildings - to do the work, a person must lean half out of the window.

  • With staples. This mounting method is similar to the previous one. The difference is that the staples are attached to the mesh frame. The structure can be external or internal, during installation, the frames of plastic windows are not damaged, therefore the guarantee for the windows does not disappear. However, during winter storage, all structures will have to be shifted with material (for example, cardboard) so that the fasteners do not break the nets.

Various ways of attaching the frame to the window.

Caring for the mosquito net

Homemade mosquito nets must be properly cared for. As a barrier between the outdoor space and the room, it traps not only large and small Diptera, but also debris, water droplets, fluff, sand and dust. Over time, these impurities accumulate on the mesh, turning it into a source of dirt itself. Therefore, if the mesh is to be dismantled, it must be removed and cleaned 1-2 times a year. If the structure is not removable, it needs to be updated every year (given the low cost of stationary self-made structures, this will not be financially difficult).

  • The frame and mountings must be wiped with a damp sponge, you can add detergents.
  • The panel itself must first be dry cleaned (vacuum cleaned or gently cleaned with a soft brush).
  • Next, the panel should be washed with cool water without detergents (even the most non-aggressive ones).
  • A natural way is preferable to dry the cloth, away from batteries and heaters - due to the temperature difference, the fibers of the cloth can be damaged.

In order for a do-it-yourself mosquito net to serve you for many years, it is recommended to remove it for the winter and store it upright (without folding it!).

As you can see, a mosquito net for a window is very cheap, it is simply assembled and mounted on plastic windows. Having spent just a couple of hours on making a simple structure, you will receive reliable protection from dirt, dust and annoying insects without hitting the family budget!

You can learn how to make a mosquito net with your own hands from the video:

The beginning of the day was memorable: a friend called and told about her troubles. In her private kindergarten the kid climbed onto the windowsill to the open window and ruined the mosquito net in the open window, which had already been installed before.

The husband of the hostess of the kindergarten offered his help, but he is not familiar with such work and does not know how to do it, how to properly install a net from mosquitoes and other insects.

There are several ways to properly install an insect net, and they will be discussed in this article.

Attention! We advise you to carefully consider this information and remember it as fully as possible - summer will come and everything that you have read here may come in handy. If you cannot remember everything, you can bookmark this text so that it is always at your fingertips.

Starting from warm days, when summer time is already approaching, insects try to get into the house (some fly into the light, others to warmth, and still others, like mosquitoes, to obtain "food", that is, they suck blood for food and procreation) ... Instincts lead them to where it all is, i.e. into human housing, which can only be entered through entrance doors and open windows.

Therefore, people, trying to protect themselves from mosquitoes and the like, put mosquito nets on windows and doors. In this case, you can freely ventilate the room, while remaining protected from unpleasant bites and intrusive night guests from insects.

Insect and mosquito nets for plastic windows of an apartment

In cities and especially villages, it is now difficult not to find the main window accessory - a mosquito net for new plastic windows and doors. Clouds of annoying summer gnats, mosquito nocturnal buzzer and poplar fluff are a thing of the past with this accessory.

A mosquito net is always convenient and simple as usual. That is why they have become the main accessory and a must-have addition to plastic windows. Installed in the spring, they can protect your peace until cold weather, when the constant ventilation is already unpleasant, and the windows must be switched to the winter way of closing. But while the grids are on, I want the apartment to be as ventilated as possible. And with the grid it gets trickier.

Hinged nets allow you to ventilate the apartment and house even more. You may remember that prior to this gift from mosquito netting companies, there was almost no alternative that was so breathable and insect-proof.

True, there were those lovers of home inventions who did not want to put up with insects long before the appearance of mosquito nets. They attached materials at hand, such as gauze, to a slat frame and fastened to the doorway. Now hardly anyone will need these inventions - mosquito nets can be put on any door.

If you have a cat at home, then you probably already noticed its strange behavior when a mosquito net is installed. Sitting comfortably on the windowsill, he begins to jump onto the net, trying to grab a bird flying past, then, arching his fluffy back and languidly stretching, begins to clean his claws on it. Your mustachioed pet does not react to any admonitions, punishment and even "teaching" with slippers, alas, and striving to push the net out of the window.

Spring has come and the cat also wants active movement and "flying vitamins". Surely, if you live above the fifth or sixth floor, you have noticed how birds, trying to find food in cities, sit on the windowsill and carefully examine the mosquito net, trying to pick out an insect stuck there.

Attention to owners of furry family members!

So that you are not afraid of damage to the net by the cat and not fear that he himself may fall out of the 10th floor, companies that manufacture mosquito nets began to cover them with a special substance, polyvinyl chloride, called Anticoshka. A regular aluminum mesh is coated with this chemical, PVC.

You have nothing to be afraid of - no less air will flow into the rooms than it was received and there is no obstacle for the light. But from insects and unwanted moisture, together with industrial gases such as chlorine, nitrogen dioxide, salts, alkalis, acids present in the air of modern cities, this coating can protect.

Also, the covering layer of polyvinyl chloride strengthens the net so that it is not afraid of either the claws of cats or the beaks of birds. Now nothing can damage your protection against insects, poplar fluff and large suspended particles.

The mesh covered with Anticoshka becomes so strong that it is not afraid of the claws of your furry pet, or the beak of a bird, or the most various unintentional damage. In general, it cannot be spoiled somehow or torn by accident. To attach the mosquito net to the window, special fasteners are used (we remind you that "fasteners" and "strong" are one-root words, the essence of which is the same).

Owners of cats and cats can be calm about their pet: it will not fall out of the apartment window. And the beak of a hungry bird, no matter how hard it tries to break the net and get the midges stuck there, will not damage your mosquito net covered with PVC.

Of course there are means traditional medicine, which our grandmothers and great-grandmothers used to help protect themselves from mosquitoes and other insects that fly into the house in the summer and day and night. But already all residents of the country know that the best protection against insects is a mosquito net.

How to care for a mosquito net

When it gets so cold that active ventilation instead of fresh air will bring a runny nose and a cold, the nets must be removed from the door and window openings.

After removal, at least once a year, it is necessary to wash the weaving with soapy water. The fasteners do not need to be rinsed.

What types of mosquito nets have already been released

  • "Antidust"
  • "Anticoshka"
  • Sliding
  • For doors
  • Roll

What mounts are used

  • fastening with tape or magnetic tape;
  • pleated;
  • roll-type mounts;
  • Anti-dust;
  • sliding frame;
  • "Anti-cat";
  • removable frame mounts.

Details of each type

"Anticoshka"

Those apartment owners who have a furry friend, a cat or a cat should take a closer look at the Anticoshka mosquito net, which is specially made in order to protect the pet and the net from trouble. Used in this type are strong threads that can withstand heavy loads and are not damaged, saving the family budget from unnecessary shocks. It also ensures the safety of the cat or cat.

The net is also attached with a special fastener, so reliable that it withstands the pressure on it not only of the animal, but also little child, and this dramatically increases the safety of both children and animals. Another attractive feature of this species is that the net does not need to be removed for the winter, it does not deteriorate even by frost and winds of the snowy season.

Sliding

Suitable not only for windows, but also for balconies and terraces. They are two halves walking on special guides, which close and open conveniently and simply. The visibility of this type does not decrease due to the gray color.

Roll

It is the most efficient type listed above. Folded in roll and box. Attached at the top, then unfolds to cover the window. This type differs from all for its good functionality.

Even the one who holds a construction or locksmith tool in his hands for the first time can simply cope with the installation and fastening of such a mesh, because there is absolutely nothing unusual about the installation. A significant plus - it does not require care and special attention. But, as elsewhere and always, all good things have a common disadvantage - the price. It's not cheap.

"Antidust"

The scourge of our time is allergy, it is so common that it is worth producing a mosquito net with very small cells, capable of retaining dust, large particles and small particles suspended in the air.

Attention! Note for those who are sick.

There are also disadvantages - it quickly gets stuffed with dirt and dust. This is a significant drawback that can provoke an exacerbation of an allergic disease. However, every good housewife can do it all - you just need to periodically wash the mesh with soapy water and wipe it dry with a soft cloth. It is also advisable to dry in a dry, clean, dust-free environment protected from the wind.

"Anti-dust" looks organic and transmits sunlight quite well. The view of the window does not spoil. Along with the advantages, there is also a disadvantage - it is expensive. Not everyone can afford the price, which has a bad effect on the sale of goods. However, those who nevertheless took the risk of acquiring this species were very pleased. The grid justified the spent finances.

Grids for doors

The invention of such grids is a landmark event for potential users. Along with the function of protecting an apartment or house from insects, they perform another function - this is an unusual regulator of the air flow into the room.

They are mounted on hinges and kept closed with small magnets. By purchasing and using such a mesh, you will get rid of drafts in the room and the house, since the air flow, colliding with an obstacle in the form of a mesh, reduces the speed of its movement

Considering mosquito nets, we cannot ignore the attachment of these nets to window and door openings. Fastening to the mesh can be as follows:

With hinges;

  • using ears;
  • using plunger pins;
  • with Z-shaped mountings.

The latter type of fastening is the most reliable and convenient option - no extra holes in the doors are needed.

However, these attachments are not suitable for the Anticoshka mesh, because there are very small folds, only 0.5 mm, and cannot withstand mechanical pressure. The mesh may deteriorate. Also, this type of fastening is not suitable with the "Anti-dust" mesh. There is a gap of 2-3 mm, which will not let the mosquito through, but let the dust through, although the most dodgy insects can penetrate this gap.

Such a mount can be installed on plastic windows, where it is not desirable to make holes, and on wooden ones, in which, although you can do too much, it will still spoil the look of the frame.

Fastening with pins is more reliable and practical because they need to be screwed into the frame. The elements are made of stainless steel, so the mesh is more attached to the frame, it is very convenient to mount the mesh and remove it, i.e. dismantling.

It is better to use hinge fastening on balcony, veranda or terrace doors, while it is necessary to strengthen the elements, because the load on the door frame is much greater than the window frame. A reinforced profile is often used on the advice of specialists.

Everyone can be faced with a choice: what kind of fastening should you choose, so that it fits in all parameters and is the best for the window? It all depends on the type of window. So, if you need to close with a mosquito net plastic window, then you need screws and fasteners, eight and four, respectively.

The first step to installing the mesh will be to measure it.

The next steps are as easy as the first one. You need to install the fasteners. Corner fasteners are installed in the corners of frames or doors, then non-corner fasteners are installed, at the same distance from each other.

To dismantle the mosquito net, it is necessary to grasp the plastic holders with both hands and pull them up in order to free the lower edge of the net. Then you need to reject it and release the top. Turn the net slightly and take it into the room.

As you can see from the description of dismantling and installation, there is nothing special that requires special knowledge. Even on a plastic window, it is very easy to put on and remove the mosquito net. Therefore, if you read everything carefully, then this knowledge should be enough without contacting a specialist. You can do everything yourself without spending money on installation and dismantling.

How to install mosquito nets on windows

Those who live in Russia, especially in its middle zone, are very familiar with summer problems: mosquitoes, midges, all kinds of insects, as well as poplar fluff and the wind carrying dust. The high temperature in the apartment is also annoying, and as a result of this - stuffiness.

At the same time, insects and stuffiness are inextricably linked, since the infestation of midges and mosquitoes follows the stuffiness. And the fight, respectively, with insects is closely related to the fight against stuffiness in the apartment. After all, insects just want to fly into apartments and houses in uncountable quantities.

If we recall the not distant past of the inhabitants of cities and villages of our country, then it comes to mind old way rescue from annoying mosquitoes, flies and midges. And this method is gauze. Which helped out to some extent. Now the problem has been solved at the production level - mosquito nets have been released.

Nets from mosquitoes and all other troubles, like insects and dust, represent a structure that is quite strong and reliable, which is inserted into the openings of windows and vents.

What you need to pay attention to

Mosquito nets are fairly lightweight structures, so they can be easily fixed to the frame and held in place using slots specially made for installation. For easier installation of the mesh, small handles are made on the sides.

Mosquito nets can be installed in window frames by employees of the company that installs windows, experts in this matter, and the homeowners themselves.

In the process of work, one single difficulty may appear - the installation of grooves for mosquito nets, where you need to insert them (If you have more modern windows, then the kit does not include mounts for mosquito nets.

Mosquito nets are made of a material - extruded aluminum, which is a profile. And this mosquito net is fixed to the mosquito with a rubber cord. The cell, which is 1 square meter, prevents the passage of insects. mm (1mm x1 mm). In addition to beauty and neatness from an aesthetic point of view, the mosquito net also has an attractive side - it does not require any special care, it can be quickly removed, washed and put in place just as quickly and without problems.

Important information!

The company can offer a variety of color solution aluminum mosquito net, except for the white, gray and already produced brown standard. At the request of the buyer, you can choose the color of the lattice to match the color of the house or to the color of bricks and cladding. It helps to improve the overall appearance. apartment building, but does not interfere with the passage of light and air into the premises of a separate apartment.

What does the installation of a mosquito net on the windows of an apartment or house give? By ordering and installing mosquito nets, you can permanently get rid of the dust of the city, poplar fluff, which seems to be omnipresent when scattering, from insects that haunt you day or night, and all the troubles associated with their appearance.

The manufacturer and installer of mosquito nets has provided two types of mosquito nets fastening, the choice of one of them or the other depends on the needs and wishes of the customer. And also on the quality of the setting of this window accessory. Opportunities are increasing daily. Everything is done in order to satisfy the tastes, wishes and possibilities of the client, as well as to improve the appearance of the windows, which influences the general impression of a city or a private house.

Installing a mosquito net: the correct and professional approach to business

In order to correctly and correctly install the mosquito net, you need to take several successive steps: take the net by the handles on both sides, start the upper fasteners behind the influx of the window frame and raise the net as far as possible until it stops.

Next, you need to pull the mesh a little towards you, hook the lower fastening in the form of hooks to the influx of the frame and install the mosquito net, aligning it already along the window, to the position of the fixed component of the entire window.

A simple method to remove the mosquito net from the frame

Even a person who is not very familiar with the grid device can cope with this work, who will just try to do it a couple of times.

To remove (dismantle) the mesh, you need to: take the mesh by the handles and slightly pull it up until the attachment selected for this mesh, i.e. the hooks at the top will not disengage from the overflow clutch. Then tilt it outward and lower it a little. The mount was disconnected and there was only one step left to do: to bring the mesh inside the room, with subsequent processing until the next season. As you can see, it's not tricky, even a teenager can handle it. If you understand a little how the fasteners work. Moreover, it is within the power of an adult, even regardless of gender. Women are now independent, and the devices that help simplify our existence are very convenient and easy to use.

Z-shaped corners in mesh fastening are the safest and easiest method. In addition to practicality, it is also economically profitable - there is no need to spoil the metal-plastic frame if we install such a mount on it.

The only inconvenience of this type of fastener is that it is necessary to lean out of the window, install the fastening corners on the screws. This is very dangerous for a person who is not familiar with the operation of the device, does not have enough dexterity and strength to hold the weight with the instrument in his hands, and for those who have problems with the vegetative-vascular system, and who cannot stand heights.

How to attach a mosquito net to fasteners

1. First, read the relevant information on how to do it correctly, thoroughly familiarize yourself with how the fasteners will work, so that later, without stopping, calmly do the work from start to finish.

2. First, screw the upper mesh mount onto the screws.

3. It is necessary to measure from the influx of the window to the sides by 50 mm and mark these distances, making sure that there are marks everywhere at the same distance.

4. After that, you need to attach long fasteners to the marks and fasten them with screws.

To your attention: advice!

Choose screws with a length of no more than 20 mm so that the fastener holds well on one side and does not rest against the reinforcement.

If you do not have sufficient distance from the window overflow, i.e. there are no usual 50 mm, then measure the minimum distance on all sides of the window, and it should not be less than 30 mm, and put down marks everywhere. After installing and attaching the upper corners of the Z-shaped mount, you must install the lower corners of the mount. And here incomprehensible moments may already arise, since there are two options for attaching the upper corners in this method.

The first is option A

This option for attaching the lower corners is quite acceptable only if the owner of the apartment lives on the first floor or the mosquito net is installed with this type of fastening on the windows of a private house, i.e. where you can approach from the street to the window. Otherwise, it is impractical to do it, because it is necessary to install the fasteners carefully and measure all the distances, and in weight it is very dangerous for the life of the person installing the mesh. The installation itself consists of the following steps: taking the mesh in hands and installing it in the upper mounts, we deflect the mesh towards ourselves, having previously lifted it, and attach the lower edge of the mesh to the profile. Someone else should mark the bottom edge of the mosquito net.

Attention: important information!

During this time, when the helper makes marks, you must keep the net in a snapped state in the upper bindings. Then you can lower the mesh by 27 mm and make the bottom final marks to screw on the lower fasteners, shorter than the first, using screws.

The second is option B

This option can be used in all cases, it is simpler and safer, but it is especially applicable when it is impossible to approach the window from the outside and make marks, having previously attached a mosquito net to the window frame. This option is as follows: first, as in option A, it is necessary to fasten the upper mounts, then we measure the length of the mosquito net to a millimeter, adding another 27 mm, measure the distance from the end of the upper mount and mark this place. There we fasten the lower fasteners with screws of the appropriate length, which is described above.

The last step - the installation of the mosquito net itself is done simply: take the net by the handles attached to the frame, wind it over the upper mount, lift it slightly up so that you can bring the lower edge pulled towards you, bring it into the lower mount and lower the net back. We try to align it with the frame so that it does not jump off the installed mounts and is not skewed.

Attention to those who doubt that they can correctly and efficiently install a mosquito net: you can contact a company for installing mosquito nets and call a specialist home who will do this work for you, for a fee. It is easier to pay for skilled labor than to endanger your life.

Installing a mosquito net yourself: how to do it

In summer, during the period of the spread of insects that can fly into the apartment even through a small gap, it is usually sunny outside and you want to open the window and take a breath of fresh air. But insects make it problematic.

The usual "guests" in the summer period in houses and apartments with open windows are butterflies, beetles, moths, flies, mosquitoes, midges, various other representatives of the insect world, with whom it is not very pleasant to share their food and home. But their presence is not so dangerous as the diseases that they can bring.

In addition to insects, even small birds can fly into an apartment or a dusty suspension, which is saturated with city air, poplar fluff and other unpleasant accidents, can enter the apartment. There is still a way out: you need to mount a mosquito net on open windows. The mosquito net consists of a frame made of aluminum and the canvas itself, which is attached to the frame. There are handles that can be lifted when installing the net into the frame.

The frame of their aluminum profile can be painted to taste under color range windows, and leave the grid gray, so that it does not stand out against the background of the window, for convenience.

There is nothing complicated in the design of a mosquito net, everything is very simple and it will not be difficult to understand it even for a teenager who can hold the tools in his hands. There should be no difficulty in installing it yourself. If you already had a mosquito net, but from time to time it was demolished, you can do it even easier - remove the dimensions from the old net and order a new one according to these dimensions.

You can buy a ready-made mesh at any finished product warehouse, where window blocks, window screens and other accessories for a decent look of your window are stored. It happens that a window is sold without components common for plastic windows. No mosquito net. In this case, you need a little more effort - you need to measure the opening of your window around the perimeter. Then, to the obtained measurements, add 3 centimeters at the top and bottom and on the sides by 2 centimeters. Having received the order, see if all the accessories are available - two fasteners have been added to the mosquito net: an upper and a lower one.

The top and bottom bindings are different, the top bindings are slightly wider than the bottom bindings. It is important to distinguish between them, because when installing the window, the mount will only hold the mesh correctly and securely if it is installed correctly. Highly important point this is also for fixing the mount and the net.

Then you need a mount, which is attached at the bottom, attach it from below so that the mosquito net is 1.5 cm below the window opening, so that there is no gap and nothing gets into the window. After that, the top mount must be positioned and secured to the top of the window.

Attention! Read carefully!

In order to correctly find the edge of the upper attachment, it is necessary to measure the length of the mesh from the lower attachment and add 1 cm to this size, this will be the lower border of the upper attachment.

The mesh is easy to insert. To do this, you need to carefully pull the mesh out of the room, lift it up, pull it towards you and slowly lower it to the bottom mount, until the mesh fits well into the grooves and attaches to the mount.

In the same way, you can put mosquito nets on wooden frames, only there is a necessary requirement for the frames. So that the mesh is intact and does not break, it is necessary that the frames open inward, and not outward. It is also necessary that there are no irregularities on the frame, otherwise the mesh will sit unevenly.

The mosquito net can be installed in two ways

The first way to equip a window with a mosquito net is to fit the net into the internal fasteners. First, we take it by the handles and tilt it a little, put it behind the window opening in the upper part and raise it all the way.

Then we pull the lower edge of the mesh in our direction and put the mesh inward, behind the lower inflow of the frame, placing the bottom of the mesh in the lower mount. After such setting manipulations, we align the mesh with the frame.

The second method is as follows: the mosquito net is installed using Z-shaped fasteners that are attached to the outside of the frame. This method, of course, is more reliable, but for an unprepared person, not a professional, it is more dangerous.

Important information!

To install the Z-shaped fasteners on the mosquito net, you must be on the outside of the window. The upper corners are strengthened first, then the lower ones.

Mosquito net: is it worth the time to install it?

Nobody wants to do extra work, especially if all this is someone else's. Installing or not installing a grid on your personal window is an easy dilemma. Summertime brings us not only the summer sun, apples and strawberries, but also clouds of mosquitoes, midges and other harmful and not very midges, beetles and spiders. And also heaps of dust, fluff and any suspended matter in the air. Talk about the dangers of bites from mosquitoes and other insects, after which combed wounds remain,

Fine dust that has flown through the window, getting into food, or even into the lungs from inhaling it in the room, causes allergic reactions. To prevent this from happening, you need to install mosquito nets, which will protect both from insects and dust. The mole is also not a very pleasant human neighbor. Harmful not only to human health, but also harm to his wallet. And this is one more argument to decide and order a mosquito net.

The mosquito and fluff net consists of an aluminum frame with a mosquito net suspended and attached to it. The frame is made of aluminum, and the small mesh mosquito net is made of strong metal wire.

The color of the grid and the frame are different. Usually the mesh is left unpainted or painted gray, and the frame is painted to match the color of the window, but all this is to the taste and desire of the owner. The aesthetic side is, of course, important, but the main thing for which the mesh is put is to protect the house from insects and dust.

The net has another function that is not always remembered - it is protection from plant fluff. It is just during the flowering period that it is important to use it.

The mosquito net protects from dust, leaves flying in the wind, large and smaller suspended particles, as well as from accidental falling out of the window of pets and small children, although children need to be monitored so that they do not climb onto the windowsill.

The good and convenient quality of mosquito nets is that you do not need to take special care of it. Once or twice, of course, you need to rinse it a year, with warm water and soapy water, wipe it dry and put it to dry in places where there is no dust. You can use any detergent instead of soap.

It is very easy and simple to process a mosquito net, because it is very easy to remove and put a clean one back on. Even the manufacture of a mosquito net is not a technologically complex process, therefore it is not difficult to make it yourself, the main thing is to have a desire and a little material.

Indeed, for self-made mesh does not require any special knowledge, no expensive tools. Yes and Money you also do not need to spend as much as can be spent on ordering and making mosquito nets from window and nets manufacturers and installing it by specialists from these companies. Self-made mesh will cost much cheaper and more attractive - after all, you will put your skill and soul into it.

You can literally install a mosquito net very quickly - from half an hour to an hour and a half. Sometimes it only takes a few minutes. And a mosquito net is installed on all sorts of doors and windows. The time for setting up the mosquito net is calculated, depending on the complexity of the installation.

Experts say that a mosquito net is installed on a standard metal-plastic window within 1-2 days.

In the event that the old mosquito net no longer fits, or it has become unusable. It is better to measure its dimensions and order exactly the same new one. Here the main question arises - where to order the mesh. Best of all, you can order from the company from which you bought the windows. Sometimes there are spare options in stock. But if you want to save money, there is an easier way out. Often at wholesalers, where manufacturers buy all the missing items, sometimes they sell components to private individuals. If you buy a mosquito net separately and a frame separately or a profile and make a mosquito net yourself, it will be more cost-effective.

If you do everything according to step by step instructions, then you can easily cope with the manufacture and installation of a self-made mosquito net.

Step-by-step instructions for making a mesh yourself

You installed the windows just before winter and did not order a mosquito net along with the meltalloplastic windows? Don't worry, although measurements can be taken, it will be somewhat more difficult than measuring a mesh.

1. Do everything as described here and there will be no problems with flying insects. First you need to open the frame that you want to cover with a mosquito net.

2.When the frame opening opens in front of your eyes, it must be measured along the perimeter: measure the height and width of the frame opening.

3.After measuring, add 3 centimeters to the height on both sides, and two to the sides. 4. When making an order, if you decide to order a mesh, you are obliged to give not only it itself, but also the accessories: fasteners for installing the frame.

5. The kit will include two fasteners, including an up and down fastener.

6. It is necessary to pay attention so as not to confuse that the upper fastening device has a wider fastening bar than the lower one.

7. The next step is to correctly and correctly position the fasteners on the frame and fasten with screws.

8.In order for everything to work out correctly, you must first install the lower mount, which will be located on the outside of the frame and should be positioned so that the lower edge of the mosquito net, which sits in the mounting slots, would be 1.5 cm below the edge of the frame ...

9. There should be a top mount on the top of the frame.

10.To determine the location of the upper attachment, it is necessary to measure the length of the net plus one centimeter from the lower attachment. It is easy to insert the mesh when the mounts are in place.

11.To insert a frame with a mosquito net, you need to pull the net out, insert the upper edge into the upper mount, then pull the frame to the window frame and gently lower it down until the lower edge is installed in the lower mount.

12.You can put a mosquito net on a wooden window frame, the main thing for this is that there are no protrusions on the frame that would spoil the net and prevent it from snuggling to the frame.

13.There are certain design features that can break the mesh.

14. You can install the mosquito net using two methods of fastening, the choice of the type of fastening depends on the quality of the window installation and the customer's preferences.

15. Installation of the net with the help of internal fixings. Used on plastic windows.

16. The first step in installing the net is to grab the frame by the handles, pull it out, insert the hook-like attachment behind the window sill, and lift the frame as far as it will go.

17. the second step in setting the net is to put the bottom edge of the frame with hooks behind the bottom overhang of the window frame and lower the net to the bottom of the frame attachment.

18. The last thing to do is to align the mesh so that it is level and tidy relative to the window.

The second method of attaching the mosquito netting frame is with Z-brackets.

19.This fastening begins by attaching the top fastener to the screws.

20. next - from the edge of the upper bead on both sides of the window frame, you need to measure 50 mm and mark these places. We attach the top mount to the marks and securely attach with screws.

21. The length of the screws should be no more than 20 mm, large screws can rest against the frame reinforcement.

22. After the upper parts of the mount are installed, you can proceed to the fastening of the lower mounts. The bottom brackets can be installed in two ways.

23. The first method is external, i.e. when you can go outside to the window. Then you need to insert the upper edge of the frame with the net into the upper mount, raise it and pull it towards you in order to attach the frame, its lower edge to the frame profile.

24. The assistant, whose location is desirable in this case, so that the marks are not skewed, marks the bottom edge of the frame, putting marks. After that, you can put the lower mount to the frame using these marks and screw it with screws.

25. If you do not live on the ground floor and there is no way to approach the frame from the outside, for example, from the balcony, then you can use the second method of fastening.

26. After you have already attached the upper mount, you can put the length of the mosquito net plus 27 mm down from it, put a mark at a measured distance and attach the lower mount.

27. After the lower mount is already secured with screws, you need to bring the frame out, holding it by the handles, fasten it to the upper mount, lower the frame, pulling the bottom edge of the mosquito net to the lower mount and fixing it in the mount, install the mesh.

Fastening of this type is recognized as the most reliable and strong, however, this is also the most dangerous activity - this method of fastening, since you need to protrude outward in order to secure the upper fastening to the screws, and this requires certain physical qualities: strength, dexterity and some others.

After the mesh is installed, you can enjoy the fresh air and not be afraid of mosquitoes, flies, or other insects, as well as dust and fluff.

Mosquito nets: how to install them

A very useful invention - mosquito nets have become part of our life. They protect us from harmful and simply annoying insects such as mosquitoes, midges, and other insects. Air passes through the mesh, but dust remains on the street, which is also very important for the health of the family living in the apartment. Therefore, more and more often the question arises: how to install mosquito nets? The answer can be found by reading this information.

Installation of a mosquito net on the window

To install the mosquito net on your own, you must have 4 fasteners and two self-tapping screws for each fastener (8 pieces). It is also necessary to remove the dimensions from the mosquito net. Next, you need to transfer the markings by attaching the grid to the window. Corner and non-corner fasteners are attached differently... Corner - in the corners of the frame, and non-corner - in the center of the side parts of the frame.

Important information!

The upper fasteners must be installed above the upper corner of the mesh at a distance of 12 mm to ensure that the mesh enters the mount. A screwdriver is used to tighten the screws.

Removing the mosquito net is very simple, just a few movements. It is necessary to take the net by the handles, slightly lift it vertically upward until the upper edge of the net is freed from the fasteners, then slowly - downward, until the lower fastener is detached from the net. Then, turning the mesh a little, bring it into the room.

Installing a mosquito net on the door

The installation of a mosquito net on the doors of the veranda, balcony, terrace, provides fastening: hinges, clamping mechanisms and magnets.

Before installation, the places where the hinges will be attached are first marked, and then they are already screwed in with self-tapping screws, fixing on the window profile.

Later, the mesh is put on loops and secured by clamping mechanisms. At the end of the installation, small magnets are attached to fix the frame with the mesh and ensure a snug fit.

How to put a mosquito net on plastic windows

Summertime brings us not only sea joy, strawberries and a lot of tasty things, but also clouds of midges, mosquitoes, flies and all kinds of insects with which we do not really want to live in the same room. That's why the best solution of all that can be taken at such a time of the year is the decision to install mosquito nets on the windows and get rid of all the invited guests for the summer.

How to make a mosquito net yourself, along with all the fasteners, you can learn from this article.

DIY mosquito nets: step one - fastening for nets

It's good if you have a mosquito net with a -shaped mount that is waiting in the wings. Here's what you can do:

1. It is necessary to take a mosquito net and turn the fastener to face you. Moreover, it should be noted that the mounts at the bottom and at the top differ from each other. Turn the net over with the large bindings facing up. This will be the correct position of the grid.

2. With all your strength, you need to grasp the vertically positioned handles on the mesh, which are made of either metal or plastic.

3. Install the sash on the window opening in a place specially prepared for the mesh and fixing the frame with mesh.

4. Place the upper hook behind the protruding upper part of the window, raising the net as high as possible.

5.In the raised state, bring the lower hooks behind the lower ridge of the window and gently lower the net.

Here is the easiest way to install a mosquito net, moreover, in the case when you already have all the fasteners. But this method is not suitable for all windows, especially plastic ones.

Securing the grid structure to the window

Consider another way of attaching the mesh to the window using plastic corners.

The mounting method is not new and not universal, but if you have plastic windows, then it can be considered. Better yet, study and research.

The fasteners are installed on the window directly, and not on the frame of the mosquito net.

You need to follow these steps:

Measure everything you need to work.

Put all the necessary marks for the plastic corners on the plastic windows so that you know where to attach them.

With the help of self-tapping screws, you need to attach the plastic corners to the window frames, taking into account the reserves.

The next step is to install a mosquito net, which is installed in the same way as the previous one, first fixing the upper fasteners, then the lower ones.

Installing a mosquito net on the doorway

Mosquito nets that are installed on the doors can be divided into: free hanging and those that are fixed in frames for nets.

There is one complication in installing a mosquito net on a door: it is almost impossible to install it yourself. In any case, it will be very difficult to do this.

The thing is that they supply components only for specialists; it will be very difficult for an ordinary person to understand the kits for them.

Important information!

For example, you can take mosquito nets with a frame, then they need to be fixed in the same way as the doors.

And if the mesh is freely hanging, then it is fixed with magnets along the entire perimeter of the door, connecting in the middle with a magnetic fastener.

Such work can be done preferably by professionals, it will be safer and more reliable, and if the mesh turns out to be defective, then you will also be refunded or redone the money.

The kit with a door mosquito structure includes two handles and a magnetic latch. In some cases, the door is very high, so one or two imposts can be placed there.

The installation time is very different. You can install a mosquito net in fifteen minutes, or in two hours. It all depends on the complexity of the design.

Attaching mosquito nets: features

If you decide to install a mosquito net on a window or door, then it will differ little from those already described earlier, but there are several points that you need to remember:

Product, i.e. the mesh, when installing, must be wound over the upper surface;

When the mesh is raised to the maximum height, you need to wind its lower corner behind the lower guide;

Then you just need to lower the mesh smoothly.

The installation process itself takes a little time - up to half an hour.

If you have a regular, factory, standard mesh, then it can be installed in a couple of minutes.

But a mesh with a Z-shaped mount, then the installation time will already be a little longer - up to half an hour, because the structure here is more complex.

Attention: useful information!

The most reliable mount is considered to be a metal mount. These fasteners serve for a very long time: they do not crack, do not deteriorate from the weather or other temperature changes, they can withstand the most frosty winters.

Reliability is expressed in the fact that metal fasteners hold the mesh even in the strongest gust of wind, unlike plastic fasteners, which pop out from a gust of wind and do not hold the mesh.

An interesting design of a mosquito net is a roller-type net. It is installed only by two people, but it is better to give this right to specialists, since at the slightest oversight the mesh will end up on the ground or components will be lost.

You can also say about one more feature of this complex design. The mesh is twisted when removed. It curls when removed from magnets, when removing the mesh from a window, or in some other cases. If there is nothing to hold the mesh and it begins to twist and unwind many times, then this complex structure will soon become unusable.

At the end of the article, we can say that if you do not have the easiest version of attaching a mosquito net, then you can happily trust the specialists in order to be calm and not worry that everything will fail tomorrow.

Often in life there are situations when it becomes necessary to install or change a mosquito net. The need for replacement usually arises in families with children, children love experiments, which means that damage to the mosquito is inevitable.
For those who are not familiar with the specifics of mosquito nets for plastic windows, the installation of a new product turns into a real hell. To get rid of many hours of torment, we offer several installation methods at once. We recommend that you read the article carefully, and save it to bookmarks or print. If necessary, there will always be a hint at hand.

The warm season is the time for the activity of all kinds of insects. Whether deliberately or not, they seek to enter people's homes through doors and windows. Pesky flies, mosquitoes, spiders and beetles bring a lot of inconvenience. Therefore, it is obvious that everyone is looking for an opportunity to defend themselves. Mosquito nets, or as they are popularly called mosquitoes, come to the rescue. These parts allow fresh air to freely enter the room and protect against insects. In this way, doors and windows can be left open at all times.

Mosquitoes for plastic windows: durable and reliable

V modern world it is impossible to imagine a window without a mosquito net. Thanks to her, people are spared from annoying insects and poplar fluff that fills the room. Simple and unobtrusive design, combined with functionality, made mosquito nets an indispensable accessory in the interior.

The simple design and convenient form of fastening have made mosquitoes the most popular addition to the new plastic window.

In the summer you want to have as much fresh air in your house as possible. But open window openings cannot provide full air circulation. Previously, there was no way out of this situation. Purchase a protective accessory for balcony doors did not exist. I had to do with improvised means, such as gauze. Manufacturers paid attention to the needs of consumers and developed special nets for balcony doors. They have a swing mechanism, and fit into any type of doorway without any problems.

Pet owners are familiar with the situation when the first rays of the sun lure cats to the balconies. There they hunt for birds flying by all day, and after that they like to “scratch” their claws on a mosquito net. And no matter how hard you try, explain to the animal that it is impossible to do this. The pet will try to squeeze out the mesh.

You can often see birds circling around the window, trying to pull out a stuck mosquito or midge. This phenomenon, especially often, can be observed by residents of the upper floors.

Taking into account the wishes of customers, manufacturers have developed a special mesh model "Anticoshka", with a reinforced PVC coated... The substance used in the manufacture of this design does not harm human health. And is not inferior to conventional nets in throughput air and light. At the same time, "Anticoshka" protects from mosquitoes, midges and flies, as well as from solutions of salts, alkalis and basic acids, industrial gases and moisture.

The special processing technology of the mosquito net makes it very durable. It is almost impossible to damage, tear or scratch the product. Now you don't have to worry about your pet falling out of the window. And birds wishing to feast on midges caught in the net will not violate its integrity.

None folk remedy, somehow the smell of anise, cloves or eucalyptus does not guarantee one hundred percent protection from mosquitoes. Only mosquitoes can help you forget about the night buzzing forever.

Care and types of mosquitoes on plastic frames

Every owner wants the nets on the windows to serve as long as possible. To do this, you need to adhere to simple rules for caring for them.

Before you buy a mosquito net, you need to carefully measure and decide on the size of the product. To do this, open a window, measure the light opening. After, add another 20 millimeters to each parameter. The result is the correct size of the insect screen.

  • For doors. One of the new developments. They perform the function of not only protecting against insects, but also regulating the flow of air. In addition, a mosquito for doors is guaranteed to protect the house from drafts. Such products are attached to special hinges. The mesh is fixed with a magnet.
  • Anticoshka. This type of mesh is essential for pet owners. Especially for such consumers, this model was developed. Due to the fact that the pet will not be able to damage and spoil the product. In addition, this type of mosquito is equipped with additional mounts, which increases its safety. This mesh does not need to be removed for winter period because the increased strength of the mesh makes it able to withstand the most severe frosts.
  • Anti-dust. Today dust allergy has become epidemic. The disease is common among people of all ages and populations. To protect yourself and loved ones from unpleasant symptoms will help mosquito net "Antidust". The product is created on the basis of a very dense fabric that is able to retain the smallest dust particles. However, this leads to quick fouling. But mosquitoes are very easy to clean. All that is needed is to wash the surface of the mesh with soapy water, and then wipe it with a dry cloth.

The mesh does not affect the penetration of sunlight into the room, and does not worsen appearance window.
There is only one drawback of the grid - high cost.

  • Roll - for many, this is considered the most optimal solution. The advantage of the mesh is its versatility; they are used to close windows and doors, terraces and balconies. When assembled, they look like a roll in a box. An additional plus easy care of the products. The installation process is also as simple as possible. But the main disadvantage of such a model is the high price.
  • Sliding - can be used to protect windows as well as balconies and terraces. This type of mesh opens and closes with two sliding pieces. Closed mosquitoes do not affect the visibility from the window, thanks to the gray color. To install the sliding mesh, you will need to install special guides.

Exists different kinds fastenings for mockit nets:

  • Anti-dust;
  • Removable frame;
  • Anticoshka;
  • Frame sliding;
  • Mounting on magnetic tape or tape;
  • Plisse;
  • Rolled.

When talking about mosquito nets, we must not forget about the types of their attachment. There are 4 types of them:

  • On hinges;
  • With ears;
  • On pins;
  • On z-shaped fasteners.

The most popular (which is quite justified) is enjoyed by last option fastening.

Z-shaped fasteners are reliable and convenient. Another "plus" is that there is no need to make additional holes in the window frame. The use of this mount is permissible for wooden and plastic windows. The lack of fasteners is a loose fit of the mosquito to the frame. Clearances, allows a small amount of insects and dust to enter the room.

To mount the pins, you will have to make holes in the window frame. Thus, the fasteners are very reliable. With this fastening, the mosquito fits snugly to the frame, and stainless steel elements guarantee many years of service of the fasteners. If necessary, the mesh can be quickly removed and dismantled.

For doors, a hinge mount is the best option. For this, due to the increased load, a reinforced type of profile is used.

There is no definite answer about which type of fastening to choose. It is necessary to take into account the place where the installation will be carried out. For a plastic window, you need eight self-tapping screws and four fasteners. Measure first. After that, non-corner fasteners are mounted equidistant from each other. Corner pieces fit in the corners.

Removing the mosquito is also very simple. To remove it, grasp the plastic holders and gently but firmly pull up. So, the mesh comes out of the lower holders. After that, it is folded back, and the upper ones are removed. After that, all you have to do is hide the mosquito net in the pantry until next summer.

It is obvious that removing the mosquito net is not difficult at all. The process is very simple, even when the procedure must be carried out with a plastic window. There is no need to ask a professional to remove the mesh. Even a person with no experience can cope with the removal of a mosquito net.

Installing mosquito on windows

We all face the problems of the warm season: flies, mosquitoes, midges; stuffiness; poplar fluff and dust in the house. At the same time, it is difficult to find a solution for all tasks at once. The fight against mosquitoes and other insects is inextricably linked with the appearance of excessive stuffiness in the room, and vice versa.

From spring to late autumn, all kinds of insects continuously fly into the window open for ventilation.

Previously, gauze was the only solution to the problem. It was attached to door and window frames. But thanks to modern technologies, get rid of gnats, and ensure a regular flow of air, mosquito nets on window frames are designed.

These products represent heavy-duty designs. They are installed in the vents and window openings... The design of the mosquito is very light. This makes it possible to fix them using the so-called grooves designed specifically for this purpose. In addition, to simplify the installation process, all nets are equipped with special handles.

To install a window insect screen, you can use the services of a professional from a window company or do it yourself. The procedure is very simple. The only difficulty that usually arises for non-professionals is the installation of grooves. In the future, mosquito nets will be attached to these parts.

The frame for mosquitoes is made of a special aluminum profile. The net, which will directly protect the house from insects, is attached to the base of the product with a rubber cord.

An obstacle to the penetration of insects into the house are very small lattices on the net, their standard size- 1x1 mm. Mosquitoes fit aesthetically into the interior of the room and do not spoil the overall look of the window. Products provide unhindered air circulation and sunlight penetration.

An additional advantage is the ease of maintenance of the mesh, the prostate can be removed and installed.

To please their customers, the companies offer classic mesh colors: gray, white and brown. At the request of the customer, the mosquito can be made in any other color.

By purchasing a window netting, you will forever forget about insects, dust and poplar fluff in your house for many years. Products do not deform under the influence of external factors, do not fade.

Fastening the masking mesh on the window is carried out using one of two types of fasteners. The choice will depend on the wishes of the customer and the quality of the window installation.

Correct installation of the mosquito net on the window frame

Although the installation of the grid does not require special knowledge, some of the nuances still need to be taken into account. To begin with, take the mosquito by the handle located on the side of the product. After that, it is necessary to start long fasteners (the so-called hooks) for the influx of the window frame. Now, lift the mosquito up until it stops. At the next stage, slightly pulling the mosquito net towards ourselves, and at the same time, we start the hooks for the influx of windows. Lower the mosquito onto the short bindings at the bottom. The installation is complete, it remains to align the mosquito relative to the window opening.

Consider the mountings before installing. Z-shaped corners are considered a practical and reliable option for installing window mesh.

How the mosquito net is attached

  • Installation begins with screwing onto the top mounts with screws. The size of the screws must be no more than 20 mm. When using products of greater length, they can rest against the reinforcement that is inside the PVC window.
  • If the distance from the edge of the bead to the slope is more than 50 mm (this is ideal), measure 50 mm from the edge of the bead on both sides. Mark the appropriate places with a pencil.
  • Then, according to the early marks made, attach the long fasteners, and fasten them with screws.
  • In cases where the distance from the edge of the bead to the slope is 50 mm, but more than 30 mm, you need to determine the minimum distance by measuring it from the edge of the beads on both sides. You should start by installing the upper Z-shaped corners, after which, you should install the lower ones. In this case, experts offer two possible types of installation.

Instructions for removing the mosquito net on the frame

The mosquito net must be removed every year during the winter season. In order not to resort to the help of specialists, you need to master a simple dismantling technique.

First you need to take the mosquito net by the handles and pull with a little effort. This process should continue until the bottom hooks are disengaged from the overflowing window frame. When this stage is over, pull the window mesh out and lower it down. Ready. Now you need to bring the mosquito into the room where it will be stored.

As you can see, the installation and dismantling of mosquito nets will not be difficult, even for an inexperienced user. However, you still need to have some skill, so for residents of the upper floors, the procedure can be dangerous. Since the installation requires leaning out of the window, at the stage of fixing the corners to the screws.

First option

This option is used in cases where it is not possible to reach the window frame from the outside in order to make the appropriate marks necessary for installing the mesh.

You need to start by installing the upper mounts, while you need to carefully measure the product. After that, add 27 mm to the results obtained. We mark the resulting length from the end on the upper mount to the bottom. Now, lean the mounts directly against the marks on the frame, and secure them with the screws.

When the lower and upper ones are fixed, you can start installing the mesh on the frame. To do this, we take the mesh by the handles and start it by the upper fasteners. After that, you need to slightly raise the mesh, and at the same time pulling the product to the frame, and lower the mosquito to the lower fastener... At the last stage, we adjust the position of the mosquito net and level it.

If even after reading the above instructions, the installation of the mesh seems difficult, it is recommended to contact a specialist. In addition, when buying a mosquito net, you can immediately order an installation service.

Second option

This technique is used in summer cottages and houses; in apartments located on the ground floor or if both sashes open in the window. These requirements are due to the need to approach the outside of the profile from the outside.

You need to take a mosquito and install it in the mounts located at the top. Next, we lift, and slightly directing towards ourselves, lean the bottom of the net in the frame. You will need help at this stage. Since at the same time it is necessary to make marks on the window frame at the edges of the mosquito net.

Those who intend to use this method need to take into account that in the process it is necessary to fix the mesh using the upper holders. Next, measure out 27 mm, after which you can make the final marks. According to them, screw the short holders with screws.

Installing the mosquito net yourself

With the arrival of spring and warmth, people try to keep the windows constantly open. However, this inevitably leads to the appearance a large number insects in the house: flies, mosquitoes, moths, butterflies, beetles and ants. They interfere with sleep at night, and bites cause itching and discomfort. In addition, such "neighbors" are often carriers of dangerous diseases.

The only way out of this situation, today, is to install a mosquito net on the windows.

The innovative design of mosquito nets protects not only from insects, but also from dust, poplar fluff and birds entering the room.

The mesh frame is made of durable, ultra-lightweight aluminum. Usually, it has the color of the window frame, but at the request of the client, it can be painted in any color. And the mesh itself, most often, has a light gray color. Thus, it does not stand out, merges with the landscape outside the window, and does not distract attention.

The device of a net against insects is very simple, and installation does not require special knowledge and skills, so everyone can do it. Therefore, if the mosquito net is damaged or worn out, first you need to remove it. To find out what size of mosquitoes to order, you just need to freeze the old product. You can easily purchase a new protective mesh for windows of the required size in a specialized store or in a warehouse.

If the earlier window was without a grid, it is also possible to take measurements, although this will be more difficult. To do this, you need to open a window opening, after which the perimeter measurements are taken. To the results obtained, 3 cm in height and 2 cm in width are added.

In addition to the mesh, the kit also includes two pairs of fasteners for the upper and lower parts of the window frame. These parts differ in design. The top hardware is slightly wider and has a bar. Therefore, it is impossible to confuse the mountings. However, the difficulty is a reliable fixation and correct attachment to the window frame.

The lower part of the mounts is laid out from the outside of the frame. To securely fix the product, the fasteners should be 1 - 1.5 cm below the window opening. Another fastener is fixed to the upper opening.

To correctly determine the place for the fasteners, add 1 cm to the grid parameters.

The further installation process will not be difficult. In order to insert the mosquito net, it is required to pull the net through the open opening onto outside... After that, it is inserted into the upper securing groove. This is done through movement, during which the mosquito is attracted to inner side, and at the same time goes down.

For owners of wooden windows, it is also possible to install a mosquito net. However, in this case, it is important that there were no protrusions on the outside of the window frame (since they lead to damage to the mosquito), and the sash opened outward.

There are two options for attaching mosquito nets:

  1. In the first case, Z-shaped fasteners are used, which are attached from the outside. The upper parts are fixed first, and then the lower ones. Work is carried out on the outside of the window frame. Therefore, this method is considered hazardous to life and health if work is carried out at high altitudes.
  2. The second option is characterized by internal fastening. This technique is pretty simple too. It consists in the fact that the mosquito, with the help of handles, is wound up behind the upper window opening, and in this position it is carried all the way. When this process is completed, the mount from below is wound up behind the rush of the window frame. Now, it remains only to bring the net to the lower bindings with a confident movement.

The final stage in the first and second cases will be leveling the mosquito, and checking the tightness of its fit.

Do I need to install a mosquito net on windows

It is impossible to keep the windows closed during the spring and summer period. The heat forces you to keep windows and doors constantly ventilated. However, along with the refreshing currents of air, all kinds of insects enter the room. They, with annoying buzzing, do not give you a quiet rest at night. In addition, their bites cause unpleasant itching and redness. No less harmful, familiar to all, moth. Although it does not harm health, it spoils things made from natural fabrics. An anti-mosquito net will protect you from pests.

A standard mosquito net is a frame made of a lightweight aluminum profile, it serves as a base on which a material with small holes is attached - an anti-mosquito net.

Due to the light gray color in which the mesh is painted, the product is practically invisible to the human eye. The color of the profile corresponds to the shade of the window frame. Thus, although the main function of the nets is to protect against the penetration of insects into the room, the aesthetic component is also inherent in the products. In addition, mosquitoes protect against dust, pollen, poplar fluff, this fact is especially important for people with allergies. Be sure to keep feathers, leaves and other debris away from the wind from entering your home. Thanks to modern developments, nets protect pets from falling.

Another important advantage: mosquito nets do not require any special maintenance. Throughout the entire period of operation, you need to clean the products with a soap solution twice a year: at the beginning of the season of use - in spring and autumn, after removal.

To remove a mosquito, no special knowledge or skills are required, therefore, caring for it is simple and does not take much time. The process of fixing the anti-mosquito net is simple, and anyone who has set such a goal can cope with it.

To clean the mesh, you do not need to purchase additional tools and tools.

For those who do not have extra funds, there is an option to make mosquitoes on their own. The process is not too complicated and fast. In addition, the method will be much cheaper than ordering a product in a special workshop.

Today, you can install a mosquito net on any type of door and window opening. The installation process, depending on the size and complexity, takes from 30 minutes to an hour. However, the full cycle of work of this type, for metal-plastic windows takes up to two days.

In cases where there is already a mesh on the window, but it is worn out, it is very easy to order a new one. To do this, measure the old product and buy a mesh of the same size. In such cases, you do not need to buy new mounts.

When it becomes necessary to order a mesh, the main question becomes: "Where is it better to buy it?" Many believe that the best way- contact the company where the window was purchased. This statement is true, but buying a product from another specialized manufacturer is also possible.

And for those who want to save money, there is another option. To do this, you need to find a wholesale warehouse that sells components for individuals and legal entities. In such organizations, you can buy a mosquito net at times cheaper.

detailed instructions

For those who installed new plastic windows, but for some reason did not order a mosquito net for him, it will be much more difficult to take measurements on their own. But following the instructions below, the task will be simplified.

  • First, you need to open the window to which you intend to close the mosquito;
  • You need to measure the length and width of the open window frame;
  • To the results obtained, you need to add 3 cm to the height indicator, 2 cm to the width;
  • When you intend to entrust the production of a mosquito net to professionals, the company should provide not only a finished product, but also a set of fasteners for it.
  • Fasteners consist of two pairs of parts, different in design - for the top and bottom. The top mount is slightly wider than the bottom one and has a bar. During the installation process, it is very important not to confuse these parts.
  • The fasteners must be correctly positioned in the opening of the window frame and secure well.
  • Bottom mounts should be on the outside of the window frame. The part should be positioned taking into account that after installation, the mesh should be 0.5 cm below the opening.
  • The upper attachment parts, respectively, are located in the upper part of the frame.
  • For precise definition the location of the parts, it is necessary to measure the height of the mosquito from the lower mounts, and add 1 cm to the result.
  • If all the previous steps are done correctly, it is very easy to insert the mosquito net.
  • Pull the product out of the window opening. Insert it into the grooves of the holders from above. At the same time, lightly pull the net towards you so that it fits snugly against the frame. This must be done until the mesh rests against the lower mounts.
  • It will not be difficult to install a mosquito net on a wooden window. But in this case, it is important that the sash opens inward, and there are no protrusions and gaps from the outside. It is important that during installation works the mesh is not torn.
  • Today, there are two options for attaching the mosquito net to the frame. Their choice depends on the wishes of the owner, and the quality of the window installation.
  • The first method involves attaching the mesh to a plastic window using internal fasteners.
  • In the process, the product is taken by the special handles on the side, the field of this, the upper "hooks" are wound up for the influx of the window. The field of the net is lifted up to the stop.
  • The next step is to get the lower "hooks" behind the sludge of the window frame. Pull the net down onto the short bindings.
  • When the main work is completed, the mosquito net is aligned with the opening.
  • Another method of fastening is to use Z-shaped parts from the outside of the window.
  • To begin with, the upper fasteners are fixed to the screws.
  • Measure 50 cm from the edge of the bead on both sides of the window, and mark the results with a pencil or marker.
  • Focusing on the marks, we mount the long mounts, and fix them with screws.
  • When choosing screws, you need to remember that their length should be less than 20 cm. If the product is of a larger length, there is a possibility that the screw will rest against the reinforcement in the pestle window.
  • When you are done with the upper fasteners, proceed with the installation of the lower ones. There are two options for this.
  • One case applies when it is possible to get to PVC profile from the outside.
  • The mosquito net is inserted into the upper mounts, after which, pulling the net towards you, raise it, and lean the bottom against the frame.
  • While one person performs the above actions, the second one makes marks at the edge of the window. These marks serve as indicators of where to screw short fasteners with screws.
  • Another option is used when it is impossible to get to the outside of the window.
  • As in the previous case, the upper mounts are fixed first.
  • Now measure the size of the mosquito net, and add 2.7 cm. The result obtained is measured from the end of the upper attachment to the bottom, a mark is made in the corresponding place.
  • The fasteners are fixed with screws.
  • We take the mosquito net on the frame by the side handles, we start it by the top fasteners. After that, we raise the lower part of the mesh to the frame, until it stops, and the lower fasteners.

As you can see, the process is not too difficult. After just a few hours of work, Fresh air will freely enter the room, and you can forget about flies and mosquitoes forever.

The latter method is considered the most reliable and practical option. But it will be difficult for a beginner to complete it, since it requires certain skills. Therefore, sometimes it can pose a danger to human health. Since in the process of installation work it is necessary to protrude out of the window to fix the corners with screws.

How mosquitoes are installed

Mosquito nets have become part of everyday life. This is a great way to protect your home from annoying insects without blocking the constant flow of fresh air. We are ready to tell you how to quickly install mosquito nets on windows and doors.

Installing a mosquito net on the window

To mount the mosquito, in addition to the product itself, you must have a set of parts for fastening: it includes four fasteners and the same number of self-tapping screws. Usually, these items come with a net.

Place the mosquito on a flat surface. Take measurements and markings accordingly.

Corner fasteners are mounted in the corners of the frame. Non-corner pieces are fixed in the center of the window frame. During these works, keep an even distance between all parts.

Fasteners for the top are mounted above the top corners of the mesh, keeping a distance of 12 centimeters. This technology will provide the mosquito with ample entry space. A screwdriver is used to fix fasteners to self-tapping screws.

Removing the mesh from a plastic window is also easy. To do this, you need to grab the plastic holders that are in the middle of the mosquito. With a gentle motion, lift it up vertically. When the mesh comes out of the lower hooks, the bottom is pulled back a few centimeters away from itself. Then, slowly lower it until the mosquito comes out of the holders from above. In the last step, place the product indoors.

Various fastenings of mosquito nets and their features

The general principles of installing and fixing a mosquito net on an aluminum window is practically the same as in previous installation cases. However, there are still some peculiarities:

  • The mesh is inserted into the frame by the upper guide.
  • Having reached the maximum position on top of the structure, insert the lower edge of the sash behind the lower guide.
  • Now you can lower the product.

Usually, even for a non-professional, the total installation time for a plastic window structure takes no more than 30 minutes.

Standard models of nets on the frame are mounted in a few minutes - by attaching them to the window frame with special latches.

Installation of structures with Z-shaped fasteners takes a little more time, within 10-15 minutes. However, the process itself will be more complicated.

For those for whom the reliability of fasteners is important, we recommend paying attention to the metal parts. Such products do not crack, are not damaged, and they are not afraid of severe frosts and summer heat. In addition, unlike plastic counterparts, metal fasteners will not allow the mesh to fall out even in hurricane gusts of wind.

Not so long ago, roller-type mosquito nets appeared on the market. Installation of such products without professional assistance is not recommended. But, if you still intend to do it yourself, it is recommended that you do the work together. This will help to do the job better, and save you from losing parts.

Installation of anti-mosquito net on the door

Today, anti-mosquito nets on the doors of balconies and verandas are mounted using special magnets and using a clamping mechanism. Before starting work, you need to mark the places where the hinges will be fixed. Then they are fixed on doorway with screws or self-tapping screws. Next, you need to fix the insect net on the hinges, and fix it with magnets.

The last step in installing the mosquito net on the doorway is to fix the magnets on the door profile using self-tapping screws.

Installation of mosquito nets on plastic windows

Flies and mosquitoes are a real problem during the warmer months. The easiest and most convenient way to control insects in your home is to install mosquito nets on doors and windows. Below you will learn how to install an insect screen on the window premise, as well as the doors of terraces and balconies.

Self-fastening mosquito net on the window

If your insect net comes with Z-shaped mounts, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Place the mosquito upright, so that, at the same time, the mount is facing you. It is important to bear in mind that fastenings often differ depending on the length of the hook of this part.
  2. Next, place the mesh so that the hook of the larger fastener is turned up, and the smaller one is down.
  3. On the side of the net there are plastic or metal handles arranged vertically. Grasp them firmly.
  4. Place the mosquito in a designated place to install the stacks in the window opening.
  5. Raise the net as high as possible and place a large hook on top of the window frame.
  6. When the mosquito is in its highest position, place smaller hooks on the edges of the window opening from below. Lower the mesh.

This is the simplest option for installing a mosquito net. However, it is only possible if all the necessary parts are available. It is also necessary to take into account the fact that this method is not suitable for all types of plastic windows.

A method of fixing a mosquito net in a window opening

Another equally popular way of fixing mosquito nets on windows, as well as on balconies, using special plastic corners.

Although this option is not suitable for all cases, if you plan to install a mosquito on a plastic window, this option should be studied in detail.

In this case, in contrast to the version with metal fasteners, where they are installed on the mesh frame, here the fasteners are fixed directly to the window frame.

The process involves the following sequence of actions:

  • Measure the window opening and the frame on which the insect net is attached;
  • On the outside of the window frame, using a pencil, all the necessary marks are made. In this case, the calculations must be done with a small margin.
  • Use screws to fix the corners to the window frame;
  • Further actions correspond to the installation steps in the above cases. The mosquito is fixed in the window opening using the upper and lower hooks.

Installing a mosquito net on the door

Unlike products designed for windows, door mosquitoes are divided into two types:

  • Those that are in a special case, which is a frame;
  • Free hanging mosquitoes.

Before you undertake the installation of a mosquito net yourself, you need to take into account that this type of work is more difficult than installing a net on a plastic window. This is due to the fact that when completing the mesh, they rely on the work of professionals, and it will be difficult for a person without experience to figure it out. Therefore, it is recommended to entrust the installation of an anti-mosquito net for doors to specialists, this will not only save time and effort, if a defect is found, the product will be quickly replaced with a new one.

As an example, consider a mosquito with a frame. This type of product is attached with hinges, which resembles ordinary doors. In contrast, mosquito nets with magnets are attached around the entire perimeter of the doorway using special magnetic fasteners.

Sometimes the mosquito net comes with a magnetic latch and handles. In addition, if the height allows, you can install several imposts.

For a professional, installing a mosquito net on a door takes no more than 15 - 30 minutes.

The peculiarity of this type of mosquito nets is twisting during removal from the latches or opening. The presence of such a function eliminates the need to twist the product by hand and significantly extends the life of the product.

You already know how to install a mosquito net on a window or door, of which there are. When it comes to simplest design mosquito nets, installation is done independently. The work will take no more than half an hour. However, it is recommended to entrust the installation of complex structures to professionals. Employees of a specialized company will easily carry out the installation in a short time. This will save your nerves, and you will not have to worry about the reliability of fixing the structure.

When the long-awaited warmth comes, we want to constantly keep the windows open so that the fresh air fills the rooms of our home with pleasant aromas. To protect against unwanted insects, special devices are installed on the window openings. What types of them are, what are the design features and how to properly put a mosquito net on a plastic window, our article will tell.

Sliding mosquito net

Types of meshes

There are several main types of mosquito designs.

  • "Anticoshka"

This type of nets will not only protect the house or apartment from insects, but also ensure the safety of your pet, prevent it from falling out of the window opening. Made of extra strong material, it can withstand very serious loads. Your pets will not be able to tear or ruin this structure. It can not be removed even for the winter, it is able to withstand very low temperatures and strong gusts of wind.

  • Sliding structures

You can install a device of this type both on ordinary windows and on terraces or balconies. The design is represented by two sliding elements that can open and close. But the installation of this device on the window requires the installation of special guides along which the sliding parts will move.

  • "Antidust"

You can protect yourself from the penetration of allergens into your home by installing an anti-dust mesh. Created from dense material, it will retain even the smallest particles. But such a structure gets dirty very quickly. However, ease of care is one of its advantages. This requires warm soapy water and a sponge. The density of the material does not affect the quality of visibility. The main disadvantage is the high cost.

  • Removable frame nets

These are standard designs made according to the size of the sash into which they are inserted. They let in sunlight and protect against insect penetration. If the device is large, then an additional bar is mounted in the middle, which gives the entire structure reliability. The removable frame mesh is inexpensive.

Mosquito Net Plunger Pin

Types of fasteners

You can install the mosquito net on the window using plastic corners, plunger pins or z-type fasteners. The fastening of the latter type is considered more reliable and convenient. It does not require additional holes and can be used on both plastic and wood frames. Its disadvantage is the loose fit of the protective structure.

Plunger pins are metal parts, adjustable in length. Their design includes a spring. Installation and dismantling of the mesh device in this case is very easy, suitable for windows of any type.

Plastic corners are installed from the outside of the window. The mesh can be easily removed and does not interfere with the normal functioning of the sashes.

Mounting

It is not difficult to put a mesh device on a window, but it requires adherence to a certain sequence of work. To do this, you need to prepare 4 fasteners and 8 self-tapping screws, a screwdriver.

  1. Take measurements. Corner fasteners are placed in the corners of the frame, while non-angular elements are placed at an equal distance from each other.
  2. Fix the fasteners with self-tapping screws.
  3. Insert the device first into the upper fasteners, then lower into the lower ones.

When you remove the mesh structure, take the plastic holders with both hands and gently pull upwards, the protective device will come out of the plastic corners. Fold it back and remove it from the upper elements.

Installing a mosquito net on a window or doorway means ensuring yourself a comfortable stay in your own home. This design will avoid the use of various chemicals for insect control, which can be hazardous to health.
